8/21 – 9/30

As noted in the previous entry, this Blogworthy Report was delayed by some major-major projects, including a new library website and upgraded community website:

New LLResearch.org!: As you have surely seen by this point, the new archive website is now live! The final month of production in the lead-up to the finish line seemed to snowball with more and more work, but thanks to the concentrated efforts of Daniel and our extra elbow grease, we were able to launch just a few days after the autumn equinox. Please read the news announcement linked above for a list of many of the new features, services, and resources on the new website, along with some of the goals for the near- and long-term future.

Upgraded Bring4th.org!: In addition to the change of the template itself (the way the website looks and feels from the user’s perspective), the site is finally fully useable from a mobile device! That means it scales to one’s phone, and can be read and posted to easily from one’s phone.

We also worked with the CSC (Community Stewardship Circle) to streamline and update the Guidelines of the forums, revise moderator procedures, and launch a new forum called “What is Love?” that we situated at the very top of the forums.

In connection to the launch of the Library site, we will prune unneeded features from Bring4th’s home page and sync the remaining features to their corresponding pages on the new Library site at LLResearch.org where the information will have been transplanted. The long-term plan is to eliminate the home page altogether and distill the Bring4th site down to its essence: the forums. While all of Bring4th’s non-forum features will eventually move over to LLResearch.org, the forums will remain a semi-independent website distinct from the Library website.

With these efforts and more to come we hope to make Bring4th a more mission-aligned and positively oriented experience for all.

Though we, Gary and Austin, invested our share of effort, it was Steve who made the upgrade itself happen. In completing this upgrade, Steve struggled and toiled and had a couple Charlton Heston’esque moments of questioning the Sky God on his knees wondering why the Divine Master hates him so. What was supposed to take a few days stretched into 2.5 weeks as he had to take off time work and spend a multitude of nights deep into the a.m. in a life that includes raising a family. As he summarized: “It seemed as one pipe became fixed, another leak sprung somewhere else in the system, and this continued in frequency and complexity until I was up to my neck in water.” But, he persisted.

Steve, we extend our love and bowing heartfelt gratitude to you for this gift to L/L Research and to the users of this forum. Thank you so very much! We are happy also to report that after 13 years of purely volunteer service, which included building Bring4th.org itself, Steve has finally accepted compensation for the first time as well.

New Intermediate Channeling Circle transcript: We continue to joyfully meet for our regular channeling circles. Thanks to transcribers Wen and Suzanna, plus a little extra editing and formatting, two new transcripts have been published:

ABOD Narration: Jim also recorded a moving narration of a message from A Book of Days to share with seekers:

**************

  • Working with Translators
    • Arabic: We received sessions 10–20 of the Ra Contact in Arabic from B., not to mention joyful conversation, thank you B.! (Making language 20 when it is published.)
    • Farsi: And thanks to M., Ra has made their debut in Farsi (Persian), in the form of the first five sessions! Thank you, M!. (Making language 21 when it is published.)
    • Korean 1: We received outreach from one J and their family who all seemed interested in translating the LOO into Korean. We got that ball rolling with the standard translator terms and protocols we send to all translators and… the line went cold, as it sometimes does.
    • Korean 2: But the universe, undaunted and apparently wanting Ra to make their way into Korean, sent us Sienna who reached out a few weeks after J. This time the line stayed hot and we have had a productive start to what looks like the promising prospect of translating Ra into Korean. Thank you, Sienna! (Will make language 22 if it comes to fruition.)
    • German: Jochen has succeeded in his relocation to Berlin! This is not just a personal move, though, he is busily networking with seekers in Berlin to form a Law of One center in the capitol with regular meetings and much potential for service and growth. We were able to issue Das Gesetz des Einen Verlag a small grant to support the move. And Jochen has begun work on helping L/L Research to form a more solid foundation for a license management program following the model that he pioneered for the French and German languages. We are also exploring the prospect with him of forming a European publishing center for all languages of that continent.
    • Romanian: Received from the most prolific translator of the transcripts (following his work on the RC books), Romanian translators from Horia. Thank you, Horia! In addition to enjoy dialogue, also had the pleasure of connecting Horia to Jochen for the possibility of getting Romanian into print.
    • Dutch: Received help from Lucas on translating portions of the website. Thank you, Lucas! Also received outreach from a Dutch seek offering to volunteer their efforts for Dutch translator and got off to a wonderful start. Then helped quickly and in multiple rounds to translate portions of the new website. Thank you, Erik!
    • French: Misha is nearing the end of translating A Concept Guide into French and occasionally finds errors with the Q&A numbers or other typos. Gratefully logged those, Thank you, Misha! Also received outreach from Zineb, a PhD student in North Africa fluent in French who wanted to help the French efforts. Also off to a wonderful start. Connected Zineb to Jochen and Misha. Thank and good luck, Zineb!
    • Serbian: Worked a little with Alex on updating the translation of the most fundamental phrase/concept in the canon, “Law of One,” into Serbian. Thank you for the extra care, Alex!
  • Translations: Thanks to Ivy (French), Jochen (German), and the translation powerhouse known as Horia (Romanian), we have a good stack of new transcript translations to share with the non-English-speaking world. Thank you Ivy, Jochen, and Horia!
  • LLResearch.org-Related: Among the many items accomplished in the final minutes of the ultra-ultra-long marathon to get the new website published on our end (Daniel’s list of tasks is even longer), include:
    • Finishing the transfer of recently published content from the old site to the new site.
    • Scouring the site for bugs, reporting, exploring, and solving them (the latter being Daniel’s forte).
    • Working to get some finalized translation aspects squared away with the various translators, especially with Sean regarding the distinction and functionality between Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
    • Finalizing a watermark design.
    • Polishing up the FAQ and adding a few more questions to the mix, along with a dozen or more other pieces of text around the 5,000+ page website.
    • Working out the podcast RSS feed.
    • Updating the copyright policy.
    • Managing some difficult DNS and security certificate issues once the switches were flipped and the official announcement was imminent.
    • Dialoguing with Ian (creator of and webmaster for the first incarnation of the library site) to learn more about the history of the first site and receive some constructive feeedback
    • Working on the search feature in hopes of it being launch ready but yielding to the inevitability that it will need to be a post-launch project.
    • Worked on examining every aspect of the URL tree structure of the site to further simplify.
    • Creating the news announcement with and social media announces for the website and the three social media outlets
    • And pinged each and every available translator with a spreadsheet of English terms used for navigating the website that Daniel put together to make the site more user-friendly for foreign readers. All that coordination a sizeable project in itself, thanks to: Luisa (Spanish), Misha (French), Jochen (German), Alex (Serbian), Powel (Polish), Horian (Romanian), Edgard & Pedro (Portuguese), Mauro (Italian), Laszlo (Hungarian), Romi & Vojta (Czech), Lucas and Erik (Dutch), Sean and Terry (Chinese, worked extra hard thank you), Ori (Hebrew), Kirilina (Bulgarian), Lana (Swedish), Fedir (Ukrainian), Unity100 (Turkish). Other than Turkish (on its way), only Russian or Indonesian remain unresponded to.
  • Website publishing: Now that the new website is live, publishing to the archive site can resume as normal. Along with new translations and a couple channeling transcripts, Tomas also helped us out by creating PDFs for the recent channeling circles. Thank you, Tomas!
  • Seeker ministry: As always, seekers continue to write in looking for guidance, directions, simple answers, to share their stories, to offer love and gratitude, or to simply connect. We do our best to give each message individual due attention, and continue to be honored to be in a position that serves as a connection point for so many wanderers and seekers.
  • Light/Lines: The Fall 2021 edition of the Light/Lines Newsletter has gone out, with a channeling discussing topics ranging from kundalini, our relationship with the collective, new energy, and the metaphysics of African American origins and culture. You can check it out on our new Light/Lines archive page. Printed, packaged, and shipped the hardcopy version for those without internet or those incarcerated seekers.
  • New board member: Welcomed Suzanna Miller into the mix! A regular attendee of L/L events, and a reliable volunteer, Suzanna is someone with whom we have a rock-solid relationship of mutual trust and love, and someone who has a deep love and passion for L/L’s mission and the Confederation philosophy. A very grounded and balanced person, she works excellently on a team while being an independent self-starter with multiple entrepreneurial ventures in her life, including her own rather bold, spiritual, service-based undertakings in leaps of faith into the unknown. She holds a beautiful blend of world savviness and spiritual seeking, a much needed balance for an organization that exists within the world, outwardly, but seeks beyond its boundaries, inwardly and upwardly in time/space and beyond. Welcome and thank you, Suzanna!
  • Instagram: Built and launched and began posting to L/L Research’s own first Instagram account! (Waiting till after announcement of the new library site to announce Instagram.)
  • AWH audiobook: Juliane was delayed in the work due to her cat Nico having some health issues, but she is back on the case! And very uplifting in her feedback about the new website. : ) Thank you, Juliane!
  • IMU: Continue not to receive notifications from the IMU forums where Jim conducts the Basic Principles of the Law of One course. Tried getting tech support on the line and relayed forum essays to Jim and his replies to them.
  • TAW videos: Finally began receiving finalized videos from our dear friend and L/L volunteer, Ken, from the Tilting at Windmills interview! Still a big project to come, we’ll need to watch them all and add overlays where footnotes (of which there are many in the book) may be appropriate.
  • Untranscribed Channelings: In the long process of getting the audio of the channeling transcript library onto a hard drive, Trish discovered over 20 sessions that didn’t have text transcripts on the website. She got a project underway to transcribe those previously unpublished channelings from the 70s – 90s.
  • Tarot card deck proposal: Made contact with a couple of generous seekers who are interested in helping to produce a professional quality tarot card deck based on Ra’s specifications. Dialogued and scheduled upcoming meetings.
  • Sharing the Confederation’s Message:
  • Updated Facebook and Twitter with Confederations quotes, and updated Patreon with L/L news and offerings.
  • Continuing working on producing the Ra Contact YouTube Videos.
  • Processed and shipped orders from the online bookstore
  • Nuts’n Bolts:
    • Online store: As Steve upgraded the Bring4th server for the forum upgrade, it had some unintended consequences on the online store, which is hosted on the same server. After he pulled most of his hair out trying to solve the issue, it appeared that the issue had solved itself. But unbeknownst to us, there was a second and deeper issue still gumming up the works. So we are back to troubleshooting and Steve is back on the task trying to get is squared away. Teamwork between Trish, Austin, and Steve seems to be showing the way.
    • Legal stuff: The legal realm is such a mundane and secular aspect of our world that is surprising how relevant it is to an organization like L/L Research and the material that we publish. We continued working with our attorneys to clarify and explore certain aspects of copyright as they apply to some of our current situations. It is an interesting exercise to approach this through a spiritual lens.
    • Audit: Proactively explored with our CPA and the board the prospect of gaining an external audit of the finances. A very costly prospect, we are learning!
    • Foreign-language contracts: Worked in multiple rounds with the publisher of the original LOO books about our stipulations for foreign-language contracts to help us ensure the integrity of the translation as best as possible. Also connected to the legal stuff bullet point above.
    • Bookkeeping: And since the last report, performed five to six weeks worth of bookkeeping to keep the financial universe in order.
  • Smatterings: Worked with seeker to create new merch offerings on our Etsy page (Thanks, Matthew Beck!) | In the course of creating the Ra Contact YouTube videos (where the original audio is overlaid with the text), discovered tweaks missed words or other minor tweaks. Sent to Tobey for updates on his site. | Received word from the publisher of the original five volumes of the LOO that they have updated the softcovers. | Reached out to Luis to see if he would want to add the Austin LOO study group to the new study group directory and received an affirmative reply. Thank you, Luis!
  • Intermediate Channeling Circles: Met on our personal time for three channeling sessions, one each on Aug 25, Sep 8 and Sep 22.

Personal sharing & Announcements:

Seven years of Das Gesez des Einen Verlag on Oct 1 – Seven years ago today the ink (digital) dried (figuratively) on the paper (Word doc) officially establishing Das Gesetz des Einen Verlag and launching L/L Research’s first licensing partnership/satellite operation. With great quantity of time and quality of effort, disproportionate to the financial returns of the enterprise, Jochen proceeded with gusto and preserved in his efforts.

Not long thereafter he combined forces with one of L/L’s most treasured friends and translators, Misha, to form Maison d’édition La Loi Une (Allemagne). And they have been a power team ever since as their network has expanded to include volunteers working directly with them along with others interested in supporting their efforts in the belief in what we are all doing here on Earth and in desire to share in the same mission.

And seven years later not only has Joche and team managed to print and make available a considerable number of L/L Research titles, including some of their own, but now Jochen has begun a whole new promising chapter in Berlin! And the growth continues as he look to start a Law of One center with group meetings, network more intensively, help form the basis of a licensing program for L/L Research, and even explore the possibility of launching a European print center for L/L titles in other languages.

Cheers to seven years and a toast to the next seven!!!

Asheville visit – The week the new website launched, Trish and I (Gary) worked remotely in Asheville, NC, while in the company with our friends in the Asheville Law of One study group. It was a successful experiment in working remotely while continuing the collaboration with our friends, though mostly at this stage a deepening of relationship and a continued exploration of mutual other-self discovery.

Since our last visit just before the pandemic in Jan, 2020, they’ve come a long way. Among their group, they’ve five homes clustered together that forms something of a small village. They share group work-based projects, group works in consciousness (like “ceremonial inquiry” using The Work of Byron Katie, authentic relating, and radical honesty circles, among others), evening meals that rotate between houses, and homeschooling not only their own kids but other parents who enroll their children in their program, along with the weekly Sunday Law of One study group (now in its fifth steady year) followed by a potluck and a fire circle.

The region itself is so rich with mountains and natural beauty and alternative/spiritual/eclectic/granola/progressive cultures, and rich with the pioneering efforts of our dear friends to anchor one point of light (among others around the planet) for the birth of a new earth, the density of love and understanding.

Dear seekers,

We’ve fallen behind on getting a new entry together for the Blogworthy Report because we’ve had some major projects underway at L/L Research, at the top of which is the new incarnation of the library website! Following is the short version of our announcement. We will resume the normal blogworthy report shortly.

*******

We are beyond excited to announce the official launch of the new and improved LLResearch.org! It has been a long journey, to say the least, and thanks to the efforts of developer Daniel Shields, the new site wildly exceeds what we hoped to achieve for a more reader-centric experience. The entire site has been redesigned from the ground-up to make it easier to read, navigate, and find what you’re looking for; a new system for storing, presenting, and managing our content has been implemented; and many new resources and features have been added for interested seekers to dive deeper into the Confederation’s teachings and learn about L/L Research. Read the full announcement with a list of new features here: https://www.llresearch.org/news/2021/new-llresearch-org.

We offer our immense gratitude to Daniel, any volunteers who have helped bring this new website to fruition, and everyone who has lent your support to L/L Research in whatever outer or inner form. And thank you to those who have hung on with us through the long years it took to get this website launched.

With love and light,

L/L Research

New Intermediate Channeling Circle transcript: A new channeling circle transcript was published from July 7th, where Q’uo was asked about the nature of the rational/intuitive mind, and why Ra calls it “the great virtue and the great handicap of third density.”

Youtube: We continue the steady march forward with the Ra contact text/audio project for Youtube, as we break near Session 80. The project may reach completion within half a year!

Interviews: Jim has done a few interviews and podcasts lately, and three were recently published:

**************

  • New website: The brunt of work needing done to bring the new website to life naturally falls on valiant Daniel’s shoulders, but there is still plenty for us to do as well, including:
    • Finished publishing a very long list of recently updated missing content, becoming quite familiar with the new CMS publishing system. There were over 90 new items to be published since the point that the site content was transferred to the new site. Also discovered and logged some quirks and bugs along the way to sort out with Daniel.
    • Contributed to the redesign of the home page Daniel made.
    • Developed a watermark style for the Ra contact photos and began the process of manually applying it.
    • Helped Daniel with some minor questions about the Unified Index as he builds a system to host it, along with the Glossary, Unusual Words list, and other unique resources. He’s creating something which is turning out to be a work of genius on his part.
    • Updated L/L’s copyright policy with clearer text
  • Translators & Languages:
    • Romanian – Horia: Received a new session. Thank you, Horia!
    • Dutch – Horia: And from another Horia received an offer to translate the Ra Contact into Dutch. This is such a funny language. As we’ve reported in other blogworthies over the past few years, Dutch was the first language that Ra was translate into when an amateur Book 1 was gifted to Carla and Jim. But it was lost to history until it resurfaced several years ago, a gift from a Dutch seeker who scanned it all and highlighted how riddled with errors it was. Since then, a few translators have attempted to take on the quest but to no avail. Eugenie got the furthest, making it to session 4. Horia’s background and obvious acumen reveal that the work would be in highly competent hands. A couple of extensive rounds of communication and we’re feeling optimistic. Thank you/good luck, Horia!
    • Arabic – B: Enjoyed offering assistance to some excellent questions from the one known as B about the meaning of words, phrases, concepts, and English idioms. (It’s surprising how many idioms that Ra employs.)
    • Pawel – Polish: Same with Pawel, we were able to test our know depth (or shallowness) of understanding by helping him with questions about the Ra Contact. We always appreciate fastidiousness from translators.
    • Catherine – Russian: Dialogued with Catherine who’s nearing the home stretch of producing a Russian 101.
    • Turkish: Interestingly, thanks to collaboration with Jochen we formulated L/L’s first policy about machine-generated translation. Soon thereafter we received an offer from a Turkish seeker whose heart was in the right place but whose ability with English was not up for the challenge of translating this complex, dense, jargon-heavy, often idiomatic prose from the beloved Confederation sources. They would have used google translate, so we had to thank them but unfortunately decline.
  • Das Gesetz des Einen Verlag:
    • Received wonderful news from Jochen that he’s located an economical place on the outskirts of Berlin to relocate to and launch his Berlin Ashram/publishing center that is rural, near a buddhist retreat, and not far from the city. You could feel his joy through his emails. Congratulation, Jochen!
    • Received from Jochen the second quarter activity (below) & sales report for his and Misha’s + supporters German/French operation.
    • Worked out the details to provide, at our own unprompted initiative, a small grant to Jochen to for mission-based costs in his startup efforts in Berlin.
    • And commissioned him for a week’s work to put together a licensing manual for future prospective licensees.
    • Received from Jochen an updated version of the Ra Contact Volume 2 in German and we worked to help create high quality covers for his new Kindle books.
  • Website publishing: Normally a blogworthy would contain a substantial number of links to various things that have been posted to the website recently. With the new website on the horizon, that meant that each item would need published twice – once to the old and once to the new. As the launch draws closer, there was a certain cut-off point where it would be most efficient to most new content needed to be posted only on the new website, to cut down on excessive redundancy. So there has been much published to the new website that we cannot link to, since it is not live yet. These are primarily translations, but also some interviews, transcript PDFs, and more. A few from Horia (Romanian) did make it to the site before the cutoff:
  • Stewardship Circle: Entered new intensive phase of work with the ace team including Diana, Patrick, Louisabell, Aion, Flofrog, and Spaced by brainstorming on things like:
    • Giving the guidelines their third systematic overhaul to create a 3.0 version, this time with focus on streamlining and simplifying.
    • Refining the moderator procedures with an eye also toward streamlining, simplifying, creating greater autonomy, and guarding against burnout by helping to lighten the burden of the difficult job
    • Reconsidering forum structure and focus
  • Sharing the Confederation’s Message:
    • Created proposal for extending L/L Research’s social media presence to include its first official Instagram account
    • Updated Facebook and Twitter with Confederations quotes, and updated Patreon with L/L news and offerings.
    • Continuing working on producing the Ra Contact YouTube Videos.
    • Processed and shipped book orders to recipients around the world. Received this video in an email from a Urdu-speaking seeker to whom we sent some books, a tangible manifestation of the Law of One traveling around the world. This fellow wants to facilitate the translation of the Ra Contact into Urdu, the official language of Pakistan. So earlier this year we gifted him a set of books. Our provincial little brains just found it delightful that this philosophy can travel to places like Pakistan, and that books that were once in Louisville are now there. Efforts are also underway to get the material translated into Hebrew, Arabic, and Farsi (aka: Persian, the language of Iran). Love and light goes where it’s needed, Ra says.
  • Seeker Ministry: There remains to be no shortage of emails and contacts from seekers from all around the world, reaching out to share love and gratitude, to ask for guidance or seek insight into parts of the material, to share their stories, or just generally making a connection. It can sometimes be an intensive task to respond to these emails, but it’s always an incredible and unique honor to make these connections.
  • Continued work on a proposed L/L Instagram account:
    • Compiled a collection of short Confederation quotes for use on IG posts
    • Curated photos for use as backgrounds
    • Worked in Photoshop to create potential posts
    • Created a test IG account to test out posts, profile picture, etc.
  • Nuts’n Bolts:
    • Completed L/L’s weekly bookkeeping expertly, assiduously, fabulously
    • Worked with Steve E. on renewing the SSL certificate that had caused the archive website to have issues for a day. (Even though there’s no secure content we get the SSL anyway for the “https” so that people’s browsers aren’t warning them about an unsecure site.)
    • Began updating the L/L Etsy store to include some hoodies and sweatshirts per the kind request of a fellow seeker
    • There continue to be some snags in the process of working stuff out with the copyright office, but thankfully we have the great resources of some amazing attorneys to guide us through the process and navigate the red tape. Hopefully this is the final piece.
    • With the help of our CPA, completed an annual census survey. Love our CPA.
    • Issued the semi-annual royalties to Tobey for sales of the Ra Contact books.
  • Smatterings: Relayed Jim’s communication to IMU students at work in those forums + worked with their staff about notifications not being received| Confirmed the slight refinements that Tobey had found to our slight refinements on 73.3 as a result of the Ra Contact YouTube project| Came upon a Ra passage that confirms the Wide vs. Narrow-band question| Lit a fire back under the butt of the one known as Ken about the TAW videos. He’s aiming for September.
  • Intermediate Channeling Circles: Kept running into scheduling snags but finally got together 8/18 Channeling Circle done on our own time.

**************

Some highlights from Jochen and Misha’s second-quarter report for the German and French operations.

  • During the second quarter an important decision began to transpire: that Jochen will move the Das Gesetz des Einen-Verlag to Germany’s thriving capital city Berlin. Hence he checked out the potential and challenges of such a move during a longer stay in June.
  • Misha held good contact with her Polaris study group, and Ivy continued her social media activities.
  • Ivy completed her first channeling translation (that of December 5, 2015), and Misha helped reviewing it, and helped also reviewing some bits of A Concept Guide while translating it rather quickly, up to page 315 by the end of June.
  • Misha, Gary, Austin and Jochen, and for a moment also Trisha, shared a wonderful zoom call in May.
  • Bianca joined the German translator team and took up A Wanderer’s Handbook.
  • Jan and Jochen finalized the early Hatonn message of March 2, 1974 in German, and Jochen provided also the translation of the September 3, 2017 Homecoming meditation.
  • Jochen had great phone and video calls with seekers from France, Canada and Germany and with a volunteer for the Serbian Ra Contact translation, Sheyla.
  • In Berlin Jochen met with Daniel and Klas in order to see what could be made happening in terms of community building and public events. And the preliminary summary is: a lot! And all the three want to begin that Berlin group soon.
  • On the last day of the quarter, L/L Research offered Jochen to take up a function / role of license consultation, in order to develop this venue of the L/L network.

Personal sharing & Announcements:

Trisha’s grandmother passed away just before the pandemic got underway in this country, Feb 2020. The other week her family was finally able to hold a memorial service as they came in from OK and FL to join family here. It was good to be with them. They all came over to our place, we loved having a bunch of kids screaming, laughing, and running around. It was a small Catholic service. After it was over her aunt took the opportunity to evangelize her family and then played a version of Amazing Grace sung by Elvis. Many paths there are to the Creator.

Then the following week we returned to my (Gary) hometown. We spent a day at the VA (Veterans Affairs) hospital with my dad for several appointmetns and a couple days transferring my dad from his apartment where he had been living with a caretaker to a facility with a memory care unit. His dementia is deteriorating pretty rapidly. He has some difficulty with the logistics of basic functions including going to the bathroom and eating, we must remind him to put fork to mouth frequently. And he gets stuck in very short loops, asking the same question over and over and over again, and barely absorbing what you’re saying.

But, he is an absolute chatterbox. Talk talk talk talk talk. Nonstop. It’s memory roulette with him as he hops around from one topic to the next like a runaway train. God he says some funny things. And by some miracle, he’s happy. Like really happy. He loves his new home, loves the opportunity to socialize, and cries for the other dementia patients there when he sees them wandering around.

It is hard to see him in this state. In a way, our dad is gone. And it’s been an ordeal of red tape from Medicaid to VA benefits to guardianship to other medical and facility paperwork. But he’s gifted our family a group project that has brought us even closer in harmony and mutual support after losing my sister last year. And he’s really become a bright light. So sweethearted, docile, caring, ready to cry at the drop of a dime, he melts all of our hearts. We love you dad.

New Intermediate Channeling Circle transcripts: As we’ve kept up our regular meetings to channel every other week, and the transcription team has gotten into the groove, we have four new transcripts to share with the world:

Ra Contact Unified Index: When we published The Ra Contact: Teaching the Law of One, we created a slim companion booklet called The Unified Index. It contains a comprehensive catalogue of around 590 terms found in the Law of One. It is uniquely designed to enable an in-depth study of this inexhaustible material.

We are pleased to announce that Tobey Wheelock has integrated the Unified Index into his Lawofone.info. Each and every Q&A is now hyperlinked to its place in the material. Check it out here! https://www.lawofone.info/unified-index.php

Youtube: The project to combine the Ra contact audio with text in video format continues on. Primarily a project of archival importance, there are still a number of viewers who seem to listen to and appreciate each new session as it is published. As painstakingly slow as the audio is, listening to it in real time is not the most effecient way to study the material, but for the student interested in an immersive contact with the experience of the contact, it offers a unique opportunity.

  • New website: Things are looking bright for the new site! Right now we are at the very onset of morning when the night’s darkness begins to give way to the faint, advancing light of a sun that hasn’t yet peaked over the horizon. We conducted and celebrated a big milestone by:
    • Launching beta test: After Daniel installed a feedback widget on the site, we put together a plan, drafted an invite, and pinged a list of beta users! A pre-unveiling of the new site! The feedback that came in was so affirming and encouraging, with many things identified in need of either correction, improvement, or further consideration. Subsequently issued a google forms to collect more intensive feedback. Thank you everyone who participated! And a special thanks to the one known as Ian, LLResearch.org’s original creator and webmaster, who took some time to share his feedback – it was extra special hearing from him on the eve of the new site. The website he built has held on for ~25 years.
    • Meeting with Daniel: Met with Daniel to process all the feedback received via email, widget, and google forms, making decisions about what, when, and whether to implement. There was lots of valuable insight from everyone. Then reviewed the website as a whole and planned for the month-long home stretch.
    • Content additions: There was a point a few months ago where Daniel collected all content from the old archive site to build the new site. Since that time, all updates to the old site have not made it onto the new site, with 60+ individual items and updates accumulating during that period. So now that we’re in the homestretch, we’ve started whittling away at that long list, learning more about the publishing process on Statamic as we go.
    • Ra Contact resources: Finalized a couple remaining resources, including working with Diana F. on the illustrations for the “Healing & Initiation Machine.” Thank you, Diana! And putting together a rough draft of a directory of community-generated resources and places of study for the new site.
  • Languages & Peeps: While our translators are still hard at work, we’ve entered a phase where we will pause publishing new translations to the old archive site and instead only add them to the new site, in order to cut down on workload and redundancy as we approach the launch of the new site. But Horia managed to squeak a few in before the cutoff!
    • Romanian – Horia: Thank you, Horia!
      –
November 1, 1987 – Sunday Meditation in Romanian
      – January 13, 1991 – Sunday Meditation in Romanian
      – January 6, 1991 – Sunday Meditation in Romanian
    • Italian – Gianluca: Just when the search-and-rescue teams were about to give up, he emerged! Gianluca is alive! We made one final attempt after over a year of outreach to get him back on the line. We were wondering if he would want to transfer the many-liked but completely dormant Italian FB page to the present Italian translator, Mauro. Gianluca came through with flying colors! He transferred ownership of the page, relinquishing all translation involvement right now due to life commitments, and gave us a synopsis of the odyssey of his past year plus, which includes a baby. Thank you and congrats to you and Inla!
    • Italian – Mauro: As if having recently finished the Italian RC was not enough, we received from Mauro the Italian Law of One books. And if that were not enough, with Gianluca’s support, Mauro re-launched the Italian Facebook page. And if that were not enough, we began some preliminary exploration on the topic of licensing partnership for the Italian language. This entity is a fountain of good energy. Thank you, Mauro!
    • German – K: Over several rounds, dialogued with K., and worked with Jochen, on the novel and interesting question of whether to accept machine-assisted translations for the Transcript Library. After consideration, we determined not to support machine-assisted translation at this time. We consider the messages of the Confederation to be sacred. Not in being “better than” other sources of insight, just to say that it is clear that the Ra Contact and the messages of the Confederation constitute a primary source of inspiration and information of and about the Creator for many human seekers. Thus we feel that the transcripts are best served when firstly appreciated and honored by the living intelligence of a human being from start to finish. Indeed, from Jochen’s and Misha’s lifelong, professional perspectives, the transcripts are “incomparably better” when performed by a human, particularly as the Confederation’s message is replete with very unique jargon and English idioms.
  • Das Gesetz des Einen Verlag: Multiple rounds of working with Jochen, first in just enjoying with him his journey to Berlin and the unfolding likelihood of his relocation there and the launch of a German-language center there for the Confederation philosophy! In over six years of working with Jochen, this is the happiest we’ve seen him. | Also learned that he is working with a Turkish translator on the prospect of a Turkish RC. | And held a long video meeting just today to discuss the possibility of Jochen designing a manual and program for future prospective foreign-language licensees, for which he could serve as a consultant. We’ve given him the green light to go ahead and build the how to manual. Thank you, Jochen!
  • Transcription Crew: Two of the original four found that life pulled them in directions that did not support their volunteer service. So, we reached out to the remaining two to ask if they would be okay tackling with one channeling session per month. Fortunately they said yes, and did not require begging or pleading. Thank you, Suzanna and Wen!
  • Light/Lines Newsletter: We issued the Summer 2021 edition of the Light/Lines Newsletter, containing some brief L/L updates and a channeling session examining Ra’s statement, “Things come not to those positively oriented, but through such beings.” Check out the newsletter on our newsletter archive page, or sign up to receive newsletters on our subscription page.
  • Gatherings Newsletter: We also issued a brief Gatherings Newsletter, giving updates on the channeling meditations, new website, the Community Stewardship Circle, and a new homeschooling initiative from our friends at the Temple of the Open Heart. Though upon writing this blogworthy, we’re just realizing it is not in a form accessible via browser. Oops! You can sign up for future editions on our subscription page.
  • Bring4th and the CSC: Worked with the CSC to revise and refine the guidelines related to health, mental health, and diet, putting the changes into effect. They’re small changed that probably won’t affect discussion much, but they will hopefully reinforce the desire to approach these topics with respect when discussing them on the forums. You can read the announcement here.
  • Seeker Ministry: Though not quantified, it feels like seeker email is gradually growing. Focusing our attention with the intention to be of some help, the three of us may each spend up to half a day or more each week replying to the various emails that arrive from around the world with questions, insights, confusions, and stories.
  • Archetypes Android app: We have been communicating with a talented and motivated mobile app developer, Josh, who has been working on creating a mobile app to help with the study of the archetypes. We’ve been working with him to give small points of feedback and guidance, and the project is coming together nicely. You can check it out on his website.
  • AWH Audiobook Updates: Received word from Julianne that her computer woes may soon be over and the work to edit the AWH audiobook can resume.
  • Archetypes workbook handout: Worked with Joseph Dartez to support the updating of the archetypes workbook he created for a 2014 gathering that we will be sharing in our Archetypes & Tarot resources on the Ra Contact page of the new site.
  • Jim interview with Olga: Got Jim set up with Olga to conduct his first interview using a translator go-between! She hailed from Siberia and from what we can tell of the Russian pages, seems something of a new age lightworker in those parts.
    • Processed and shipped book orders to recipients around the world!
    • Continued digitizing channeling tapes
  • Catalyst: Issues of interpersonal friction, organizational politics, and public relations will always be present in any organization or business. With an organization like L/L Research doing spiritual work and service, these issues will always carry a different kind of flavor, since the very foundation of the organization is centered on spiritual principles. We’ve had some difficulties bubble up in this arena lately, asking for our attention in both official and personal capacities. The Law of One offers a framework for meeting these issues that can be both stabilizing and challenging, asking us to approach such challenges with open hearts of love. The main challenge with this is that vague notions of love and acceptance can be incredibly difficult to put into word and action when a situation is mired in deeply tangled interpersonal and organizational energies. The complexity of even small portions of our third-density experience can be astounding and baffling sometimes. Though we may stumble, sometimes gloriously, we always attempt to bring our focus to the heart when meeting these types of challenges. Whether there is healing or not, whether the practical needs of the issue are met successfully or not, catalyst is always generated. And we do our best to recognize that this catalyst like this is not simply a challenge to overcome, but an essential ingredient for our spiritual growth as individuals and as an organization. “Fun” is not a hallmark of these types of experiences, but they are ultimately a boon upon our path, even if they don’t seem that way at the time.
  • Smatterings: Began collecting and editing photos of Jim’s garden for a potential photo album. | Created individual PDFs of all the terms from Adept – Will in A Concept Guide.
  • Nuts ‘n Bolts
    • European Union shipping: In quite unfortunate news, the EU has decided to enforce some pretty strict VAT regulations for shipments coming into EU countries from international sources, which would include shipments from our online store. The new regulations are unfortunately too much overhead and complication for us to implement into our processes, so we have had to cease shipping to the EU completely. We placed proper notice in the associated places on the Online Store and directed seekers to the UK or DE Amazon sites.
    • Stereo system: The stereo system at Jim’s house, used primarily for tuning during the channeling circles, decided to retire its service to our circle. So a new one was sought out and installed, with much improved sound quality, and potential for utilizing a Bluetooth upgrade.
    • CPA: Worked with the CPA on an annual survey required of NPOs.
  • Intermediate Channeling circles: Held a couple channeling circles. However, due to recent catalyst, we repurposed the second channeling circle into a silent meditation, and we doubled the length of the opening round robin in order to process and share together. We found it was quite helpful in coming together and releasing some energies. (As always, these channeling are on our personal time.)

Personal sharing & Announcements:

Asheville Law of One Study Group: Trish and I (Gary) were on a weekend, dog-centric camping trip in Nantahala National Forest of western North Carolina a few weeks ago. Our two pups were stars. As we were 1.5 hours west of Asheville, and as it was a Sunday, the time for their weekly Law of One study group meeting, we made the journey and surprised the study group. It so happened that this week they began on the Kundalini section of A Concept Guide.  (They integrate ACG into every fourth week of their meetings.) It was great to study with them in person and share energies!

Love to our dear friend Steve E. who recently said goodbye to his 96-year old grandmother. After receiving all her family for her birthday in the New England area, she passed while everyone was on their way home. One wonders if she held out long enough to see her family one more time. And love to everyone affected by the terrible flooding in Belgium and Germany.

And a message we shared from our friends in the recent Gatherings Newsletter from our friends in Asheville:

Starseed Homeschooling

The Law of One community in Asheville has birthed a micro-homeschool collective called Starseeds which has been a great success for over a year now. It is a spiritual education for children grounded in the Law of One principles. We are expanding and starting a Teen program (ages 13-18) this coming fall, which will be based here in our village. Who doesn’t wish they were introduced into this culture when they were a teenager?

One of our village members, Karin Petersen, has been exploring boarding a few students in her home to offer them housing to attend our teen program. It would be a cultural immersion into our village life. The Law of One community here, built upon the principles of the positive polarity, has a small village of 5 homes in the Swannanoa River valley outside of Asheville, NC. We share meals and gather regularly. We have woods to roam, gardens to soak up, a river to swim, and 4 children who already live here, 2 of whom are teenagers.

Our purpose is social harmony and raising children in love and light. We have deep commitments to work through conflict, track impact on each other, and do repair. We are learning and growing and making our share of mistakes, and striving nonetheless to move towards a social memory complex.

We want to share our riches, which is our culture. Living with others who are committed to being service to other is magical. Even better, practicing the tools to harmonize is a privilege.

Do you have any fellow Law of One family who are blessed with teenagers who may be interested in a spiritual education?

Would you be willing to put out the word to your Law of One community and help us find these teenagers who call to us?

If so, please contact karin@totoh.org for more info. And check out our website, www.totoh.org.

Our hearts warm as we think of each of you. We hope you are nurtured and steeped in the love and light of the Creator!

2021-06-18 – Blogworthy Report

6/5 – 6/18

Youtube: Listening to Ra’s words as spoken so faintly through Carla immerses one in the energy of the contact. At least for those who find a feeling of home in Ra’s messages, it can be a meaningful if not sacred experience. The steady march continues to pair the original audio with the text and make it freely available via YouTube. Two more sessions are up:

Chinese language: The One Center in Taiwan translated and published A Wanderer’s Handbook several years ago, and then per the publishing agreement, recently sent us their PDFs to publish to the archive site for free, for all Chinese-speaking wanderers to read. And then thanks to Sean’s help in translating the archive site page, we were able to share the free PDF with the world. Thank you One Center and Sean!

  • New website:
    • Daniel will stay on! Daniel has gifted L/L Research nearly two years of volunteer effort to build, from the ground up, coding and databasing and all, the new LLResearch.org. As we near the site’s launch, and learning that Daniel would be seeking new incomed work out in the world, we officially propositioned him, asking if he would stay on the team post-launch as L/L’s new primary webmaster.

Daniel brings a very broad and modern skillset, what might be called a “full stack” developer who can work proficiently on all aspects of the website, from the back end to the front end, complicated server management, coding, design, etc. He also has a master’s degree, so he brings a significant level of education to the job. And he has been incredibly professional in his approach to the website so far. In fact, he’s been a pleasure to work with the whole way. Daniel is a very gentle, reserved, and a compassionate person. We haven’t experienced a single moment of friction between us.

And thanks be, Daniel accepted! It feels wonderful to use this increase in funds toward the mission! And thanks to the board for approving of the update to the annual budget.
    • Website text: On a website that has so many different sections and hosts such a large collection of content, there are inevitably many, many small pieces of text descriptors, pointers, directions, explanations, etc. – lovingly called blurbs. Each one needs edited, proofed, and updated to the actual website, and with the new CMS platform, there are several different ways to go about this. Some are also hardcoded into the website, requiring Daniel to change the text manually. He has also had to guide us as we learn the ins and outs of how Statamic is utilized. It has been a long process of getting all of that text drafted, proofed, and published. But we are essentially done! Only a few minor pieces left that rely on updates to other aspects of the website before they can be finalized.
    • Search function: For the student of the Law of One and other L/L material, a decent search function to scan the transcripts for keywords is an invaluable tool, and something that has never really existed on the old archive site. It will thankfully be a key function of the new website. Daniel has been hard at work searching for good search engine services, testing them and figuring out how to implement it in the most useful way.
    • Beta testing: Got our first beta tester! Our friend Aaron Maret, architect by training, gave the site a once over and offered his feedback. We then put together the invitation and list for the upcoming beta testing period, to take place during the next blogworthy cycle. The goosebumps are growin.
    • RC Resource: Pyramid diagrams: Continued working with the artist extraordinaire, Diana F., on the illustrations for one of the new resources we’ll be offering on the Ra Contact page. Another final couple tweaks and it will be finished. Thank you, Diana!
    • Archetypes: Received from Joseph a preface to a workbook that he created for a 2014 workshop he led and designed about the archetypes. Though his study and understanding have evolved considerably since that time, it is still an excellent study tool for the archetypes, and a decent stand-in until he completes his multi-year project to write a comprehensive book called The Tarot According to Ra.
    • Organizing Resources: Put some thought into refining the design of the resources being offered on the Ra Contact page, creating new categories and gathering new items to offer.
    • LLResearch.com: While not technically related to the new website, Daniel did give us a heads up about the llresearch.com domain being available for sale, so we snagged it and set it up to redirect to the official llresearch.org page.
  • Bring4th: Dialogued with Steve E. on some Bring4th questions. After solving the mystery of the errors preventing the upgrades, he’s on the downhill track toward officially rolling out an upgraded Bring4th. He thinks that by early July, users might be able to enjoy an updated and improved Bring4th! (Including a site that is mobile friendly for the first time.)
  • Copyright office: Worked with out amazing IP attorneys to continue settling an issue with the copyright office, which has apparently been in much disarray from the pandemic, but it looks like things are finally looking clear for everything to be settled.
  • Payroll: Had some puzzling mysteries to resolve regarding paying international contractors via our payroll service and the tax implications of such. Thankfully, the IRS offers incredibly clear and not-at-all-confusing guidance for that kind of issue. (He wrote sarcastically.)
  • Working with Translators:
    • Vietnamese: Transferred the Vietnamese-language rights to Brand Skybooks for a five-year term! And many thanks to them, they agreed to send us back a PDF of the book to publish to our website to stay true to our mission to make the material available in all languages.
    • Romanian: Dialogued with Horia and received from him KPF and Mobi files of the Romanian Ra Contact. Thank you, Horia!
    • Russian: Dialogued with Catherine about the Russian Living the Law of One 101. She reports that she’s just a couple chapters away.
    • Serbian: Made our first connection with Sheyla, a lovely and humorous soul with a colorful life path who wants to help get L/L’s material into Serbian. Thank Connected her with Alex (another Serbian translator) and Jochen (for potential collaboration on the existing Serbian RC text).
    • Italian: Received some updates from Mauro on the Italian RC, dialogued with him moving onto Book V of the LOO, and talked about his interest in launching an Italian FB page. Which prompted a final outreach to the MIA Gianluca, which returned a surprise reply! Gianluca reported some major life changes since we’ve heard from him, including a baby, a marriage, and moving out of country. He is happy about Mauro’s efforts and will transfer over the existing, very large and very dormant Italian FB page.
    • German: We’ve been in dialogue with Jochen about wonderful, transformative events in his life, including a likely move to Berlin where he and a couple other seekers have dreams of regular public meetings, group study, rural garden support for an urban center, renting an office that can double as a space for public programs, a “public shop,” and otherwise setting up a center for spiritual seekers in Germany. It all sounds so rich with potential!
  • Seeker Ministry: Every week we get a wide variety of messages from seekers all around the world. These are predominantly from seekers who are reaching out with questions about the material, looking for guidance or advice, wanting to share their experience or story, hoping to find some kind of connection, or simply offering gratitude. It is a constant honor and joy to respond to every email that we receive.
  • Sharing the Confederation’s Message:
    • Updated Facebook and Twitter with Confederations quotes, and updated Patreon with L/L news and offerings.
    • Continuing working on producing the Ra Contact YouTube Videos.
    • Processed and shipped book orders to recipients around the world!
    • Continued digitizing channeling tapes
  • Nuts ‘n Bolts:
    • Completed the weekly bookkeeping x2 and held the balance of the financial universe in order
    • Harmoniously worked out a royalties question with the publisher of the LOO books.
    • Performed the usual maintenance and corrections to the archive website.
  • Smattering of Others
    • Helped to get Jim set up with an interviewer in Siberia who would use conduct the interview using a translator for both parties. | Continued learning photoshop to launch an L/L-run Instagram account.
  • Intermediate channeling circles: met on 6/9. As always, this is a volunteer effort on our own time. The group question in this circle was about how the infant “contains the universe.”

Personal sharing & Announcements:

– On personal time, joined with Jim to make a group visit to see our dear friend Fox! Enjoyed a meal consisting of veggies straight from her bountiful garden as we ate outdoors underneath the willow tree in a very peaceful, very quiet rural setting. Visiting her and her husband out in the countryside, I think we’re reminding of what paradise can taste like on Earth when one lives in harmony and love with the land (and is able to tune out the news…).
