So we have an idea that we are being loving ... but how does that match up to how others actually experience you?

we can take paragons like Carla, and she just did her business, and yet, as her farewell thread shows - she made people feel a certain way with how she lived her life and what she did with it.

Look at Mother Teresa - she gave relentlessly and yet in her personal diary she often wrote how she wasn't giving enough, and felt like she lacked in service to others.

Service to others is EXACTLY that, the affect you have on others, not one's own (highly distorted) idea of it.

It's just words, maybe you were pissing her off.. I personally think letting go is the best way out and that in life there is nothing in others for us to forgive that should not be inherently forgiven.

Responsabilities are toward self. Others are mirrors unto us, showing us what lies beneath the surface deep within.

I did my best to split this thread into two different places.

    Memes - http://www.bring4th.org/forums/showthread.php?tid=11277

    Interpersonal discussion - http://www.bring4th.org/forums/showthread.php?tid=11278

I would like to make a sincere request to please keep discussion on the original topic (particularly in regards to posting silly images - if you don't have something of substance to contribute, please refrain or take it to Treehuggers). It detracts from the discussion and gives the mods unnecessary work to do (as enjoyable as it is, there are many other things to do besides search threads for popcorn gifs).
