I recall Ra being somewhat against the idea of homosexuality in the 3rd dimension. There was reference to same-sex couples maintaining a loving relationship however coitus was to be avoided.
Regarding society's apparent slide into androgyny I feel this could relate to the Yin and Yang balancing of the masculine and feminine parts of the personality. Not necessarily becoming androgynous, merely becoming a more balanced whole.
Regarding dancing! When I was young and clubbing in Africa we all danced at any opportunity, male and female. Usually more males than females as they wanted to show off their moves to the ladies. But generally everyone was on the dance floor for 90% of the time.
It was coming to Australia I noticed the complete opposite. The dance floor crammed with gyrating females in impossibly high heels and every male on the sidelines holding a beer. It was awful to be honest. The female became a piece of meat advertising her wares, intentionally or not.
I think we are all meant to dance together...in comfortable shoes! Maybe that's what's happening now.
