Compassion is the thing that allows us to have empathy for other-selves. And STS entity has decided that it has no interest in compassion. The question is about the entities that have not chosen STS.
Is there some logic to them that allows them to understand that compassion is okay when someone expresses it for their situation, but that they then are absolved from "paying it foward", as it were? What is the mechanism at work here?
