Lol gem, a Buddhist monk would probably tell you to meditate on that little dog for one hour 
I met two Buddhist monks in my life, one I meditated with for probably three years once a week, but those monks were both very funny, full of humor. I wish I could ask them but I lost somewhat contact some years ago, one for sure passed away and the one I used to meditate is very fragile now and sort of retreated. I am sure he would have good advice for the little dog.. perhaps you should talk to that little one before you meditate !!!
