If the Romans considered Jesus a loser, I doubt they would have bothered with him. They were more likely scared, or at the very least threatened. This is all neither here nor there.
Don’t worry about what others think about you! Have confidence in yourself and everything you do. Serve others if that is your wish, or serve your self. There is no right or wrong choice.
Also, there will always be adversity to some degree. Even if you’re Jesus Christ

EDIT: wanted to add to your last comment about how to not get lost in anger at those who are ignorant to the “truth.”
Those people are exactly where they need to be and will eventually find their way. They aren’t lost. They never were. We’ve all been there (I think)
