Does being STO make you a loser in the eyes of this world? How do you cope? - rinzler - 02-21-2020 When I look at Jesus life and the lives of other good people during their time they were treated very badly. I think this is the nature of this world. Resources have to be taken instead of being asked. The beast wins. The strong survive and the weak die. At least until earth becomes uninhabitable for 3D humans. How do you cope with this? How do you manage not to lose yourself in anger for those who are too ignorant and blind to the truth. RE: Does being STO make you a loser in the eyes of this world? How do you cope? - Strannik - 02-21-2020 Development where there is a contradiction. Where there is no contradiction, harmony and the absence of any movement. If a person looks at the natural world around himself, he will notice that there is an uninterrupted struggle for survival among animals and plants, everyone thinks only of himself and his development. It is strange that the question why it is happen, "RA" was not asked. How to develop a person and realize their desires without harming other living beings? Even in the process of human thinking is a struggle, some thoughts replace others so that one thought can come, the previous thought must go. But should a person in his life go over the heads of other people, placing his desires above the desires of others, if nature itself does this? RE: Does being STO make you a loser in the eyes of this world? How do you cope? - Loki - 02-21-2020 One think I learnt from Ra is when I ask myself: “What is wrong with this world” I should ask instead “What is wrong with me” because I will never be able to understand the world but I could learn to understand myself well enough to accept the world as is. And even when I started seeing that the change I need is entirely in my power it is hard to convince myself to accept it. Someone once said to me: Take anger as an opportunity and make something out of it. And this is fundamentally our scope in this incarnation to use this catalyst to polarize; if we can control that anger we take the negative path, if we can accept it we take the positive path. RE: Does being STO make you a loser in the eyes of this world? How do you cope? - sillypumpkins - 02-21-2020 If the Romans considered Jesus a loser, I doubt they would have bothered with him. They were more likely scared, or at the very least threatened. This is all neither here nor there. Don’t worry about what others think about you! Have confidence in yourself and everything you do. Serve others if that is your wish, or serve your self. There is no right or wrong choice. Also, there will always be adversity to some degree. Even if you’re Jesus Christ Be well and don’t worry! EDIT: wanted to add to your last comment about how to not get lost in anger at those who are ignorant to the “truth.” Those people are exactly where they need to be and will eventually find their way. They aren’t lost. They never were. We’ve all been there (I think) RE: Does being STO make you a loser in the eyes of this world? How do you cope? - kristina - 02-21-2020 Excellent question. Someone has to lose? Lol. Still, good question. RE: Does being STO make you a loser in the eyes of this world? What is this? Can I do something about it? If yes, what can I do? And I do that as soon as I get the answer. No need to cope with anything, just to serve with all the infinite power I have RE: Does being STO make you a loser in the eyes of this world? How do you cope? - Hilarion - 02-22-2020 I worked through elements of this thinking, but I soon realised that STO is all about working on the personality and being a luminous character. Once this is developed this character attracts friendship/companionship/affection/love this is what is really valuble in life. The life of Jesus was filled with amazing miraculous events, to simply focus on his death is only seeing the worst part in a life that is celebrated 2000 years later. The real lesson behind his death is that no matter what the negative side did they could never really take him away from us, Just like Obi Wan in Star Wars says to Darth Vader "If you strike me down now I will become more powerful that you can possibly imagine" RE: Does being STO make you a loser in the eyes of this world? It’s very unfortunate, isn’t it, that “nice guys finish last” in this world? You’re right. So many people act without moral decency because they don’t think it matters. They take what they want without any thought about others. They abuse and mistreat others for their own self gain. And they are rewarded for it. They reap the benefits of the worldly and materialistic. I can’t shake it off my mind, though, that this world is prime testing ground. We have the opportunities to practice morality and service to others, even against the seeming odds of STS. I will share something I read that really resonated with me: Quote:Yet pain itself is friendly, because it is educative. Suffering, poverty, disease, disharmony and death all have their lessons for us. These are the goads that prod the race onward in its search for truth. We do not fully understand why this is the method, but we can see that the very fact of manifested existence necessitates temporary limitations, with suffering as an inevitable consequence of such limitations. One does not need to be a philosopher to know that civilization is the result of human reaction against pain, the consequences of the human quest for ways to overcome limitation. Disease teaches us the laws of health, frictions in human relationships goad us into the discovery of harmony, and the wise declare that in the mystery of death lies hidden the secret of immortality. RE: Does being STO make you a loser in the eyes of this world? How do you cope? - Reaper - 02-22-2020 Strongly crystallized and balanced lower chakras tend to ameliorate this problem, as the individual gains a radiant, magnanimous and influential quality. Remember, Jesus was so popular that the masses were following him around even when he wanted to be alone. He was only killed because the religious authority of the time felt threatened by his massive popularity, and it was his choice to allow his death to be a symbol for something greater. Beyond that, balanced lower rays tend to eliminate the concern over what people think of you in the first place. I learned a long time ago that if you do things in confidence without giving a damn what people think, people will tend to respect that and get behind you, whereas they will often subconsciously pick up on signs of insecurity and mirror them, i.e. if you think yourself incapable you will be treated as if you are incapable. I had to withstand a lot of abuse before I realized these patterns were emerging from the personal thought that I was garbage. Once I started respecting myself more a different sort of person started entering into my life. These days I get along very well with almost everyone I meet, because I believe myself to be a likable person. RE: Does being STO make you a loser in the eyes of this world? I just want to point out here that Jesus was popular and killed for the wrong reasons in which he did not believe. Don’t forget that his disciples were hoping to have a “kingdom on earth” and the people that killed Jesus were afraid he wants to have his “kingdom on earth”. He talked over and over about his father's kingdom and everybody at the time understood that kingdom was on Earth. This is the reason Ra is so concerned about how information is processed. Even today Jesus is followed by most for the wrong reasons. This illusion is important indeed but not for how confident you are in your incarnation or how of a winner you are perceived to be, but for how much you grow while here. If I understood something from Ra is that in order to win in the bigger picture of creation you almost certainly must lose in this illusion. RE: Does being STO make you a loser in the eyes of this world? Well Michael Newton, who was this very serious hypnotist who would help his clients in their present life by having them through regression, noticed that in fact advanced souls incarnating are never in position of apparent earthly power... This game can only be won by those who lose their cards in the melting influence of love; can only be won by those who lay their pleasures, their limitations, their all upon the table face up and say inwardly: “All, all of you players, each other-self, whatever your hand, I love you.” This is the game: to know, to accept, to forgive, to balance, and to open the self in love. This cannot be done without the forgetting, for it would carry no weight in the life of the mind/body/spirit beingness totality. Jesus said in his own words almost the same thing. Still his disciples were concerned over and over about how can they turn the illusion in their favor. Some people reading “Ra's Material” are concerned about the same thing. How can they get respect in this illusion? This very important illusion where we need to have it all. But more awaken someone is more she/he feels that respect in this illusion is fool’s gold. RE: Does being STO make you a loser in the eyes of this world? How do you cope? - EvolvingPhoenix - 02-24-2020 Being STO doesn't HAVE TO make you conventionally unsuccessful necessarily, but if your particular STO path leads you to an image that is frowned upon by society, the best way to handle it (I suppose) would be to look at whatever underlying beliefs you have chosen to adopt which would cause this to bother you and change them. Easier said than done, I know (and I'm still working on that myself) but it does seem to be the best thing to do. After all, you're worth however much YOU decide you are worth, not anyone else. Lose how? By martyring oneself? Living as a pauper? Being persecuted? Alienated? Miserable? While some individuals program these types of lessons for their own reasons, or stumble into them due to a lack of wisdom or unforeseen circumstances, they are not equivalent to personal growth, nor necessary to its production. He who can envision a reality in which both the individual and the whole can experience joy and abundance has the potential to draw it into being. This is the great power of the Will. Indeed, these types of unpleasant situations invite us to show ingenuity and creativity in how we might change them, and that produces a tremendous amount of growth. Confidence stems from having something higher than public approval driving your actions, thus you act regardless of how your actions are perceived. It combines the shield of Faith with the sword of Will, the feminine receptivity to spiritual resources with the masculine projective vitality. Thus the positive master of the yellow ray is crystallized and balanced in regards to his reflection in society, acting with detachment towards outcomes yet missing no opportunity that arises. He knows he has his Faith to fall back on if he fails, yet also has the Will to utilize the rewards of success, thus in any situation he comes out the winner. Being called a loser by others is an opportunity to prove them wrong. Calling yourself a loser is making it so. RE: Does being STO make you a loser in the eyes of this world? So everything is just supposed to be great all the time? In LOO it's clarified that our experience on Earth is -not- one of harmony, so we shouldn't seek it here. It helps to be familiar with the archetypical mind and the feedback loop of catalyst/experience and some of the inspiring symbolism, such as the Great Cat that guards and understand what they mean. I would recommend looking into the Hierophant and the Emperor. You have an experience. This experience is crafted of catalyst. Catalyst stand for a potential to change, and there are always multiple directions. The choice of meaning is ever yours. Of your consciosness. If you are gazing onto the world and projecting negative opinions over it, you're not solving your issue. You're also thinking like the pack. As Ra says. The light of the brightest noon can be cast on even the darkest situations by the far-seeing adept. Don't be shortsighted. The nature of polarity is interesting in that those experiences offered to the Significator as positive frequently become recorded as productive of biases which may be seen to be negative, whereas the fruit of those experiences apparently negative is frequently found to be helpful in the development of the service-to-others bias. As this is perhaps the guiding characteristic of that which the mind processes and records, these symbols of polarity have thusly been placed. corresponding with Eliphas Levi's 7th axiom on the Theory of Will-Power The more numerous the obstacles which are surmounted by the will, the stronger the will becomes. It is for this reason that Christ has exalted poverty and suffering. As for your issues with anger, session 99 has a great piece of advice on managing anger which is again an internal issue, not the world's fault: 99.5 Questioner: Finally, of the preliminary questions, one from Jim stating, “For the last three weeks I have often been at the edge of anger and frustration, have had a nearly constant dull pain at my indigo-ray center, and have felt quite drained of energy. Would Ra comment on the source of these experiences and any thoughts or actions that might alleviate it?” Ra: I am Ra. As in all distortions, the source is the limit of the viewpoint. We may, without serious infringement, suggest three courses of behavior which shall operate upon the distortion expressed. Firstly, it would be well for the scribe to engage, if not daily then as nearly so as possible, in a solitary strenuous activity which brings this entity to the true physical weariness. Further, although any activity may suffice, an activity chosen for its intended service to the harmony of the group would be quite efficacious. The second activity is some of your space/time and time/space taken by the entity, directly or as nearly so as possible to the strenuous activity, for solitary contemplation. Thirdly, the enthusiastic pursuit of the balancing and silent meditations cannot be deleted from the list of helpful activities for this entity. We may note that the great forte of the scribe is summed in the inadequate sound vibration complex, power. The flow of power, just as the flow of love or wisdom, is enabled not by the chary conserver of its use but by the constant user. The physical manifestation of power being either constructive or destructive strenuous activity, the power-filled entity must needs exercise that manifestation. This entity experiences a distortion in the direction of an excess of stored energy. It is well to know the self and to guard and use those attributes which the self has provided for its learning and its service. Those are my interpretations of the issue RE: Does being STO make you a loser in the eyes of this world? There are no victims, there are creators and co-creators. You send out a energetic frequency and your surrounding co-creators mirror it back to you. Jesus wanted that experience, why? I don’t know I’m not Jesus. It’s still a learning experience for the one that loses, we just don’t see it cause we don’t see the bigger picture... yet. But look at all the people who are super selfish, who display what they have - they just seem to me like completely sad losers. They have rubbish self esteem, if they didn't they wouldn't need a load of 'stuff' to feel like they were 'something'. But then they get all the stuff they wanted and they realise it hasn't made any difference they still feel empty (at this point a lot of them spend a lot of time projecting that they aren't empty and some switch paths and get on the right one). Do Om, your mind will change and what you need to know will come to you. That was Yeshua's way to serve that he chose from his heart. If martyrdom and unflinching acceptance of all life's slings and arrows isn't your heart's cup of tea, it doesn't make you any less STO, for there are plenty of other ways to serve. The martyrdom of Jesus/Yeshua, whatever version of his name you call him was his gift and appropriate at that time space nexus. This was sort of a Piscean thing, and he already did it flawlessly so nobody else would have to. The Piscean energy has been distorted negatively somewhat with a suggested bent towards martyrdom for STO, suggesting that "happiness is not the objective" and that our lives on the STO path should all be suffering and sacrifice 24/7 . We are entering a new Aquarian time and a total universal shift that will be less defined by martyrdom, winners and losers...more symbiosis, less competion, and age of zero-point rather than zero-sum thinking. RE: Does being STO make you a loser in the eyes of this world? How do you cope? - Black Dragon - 03-04-2020 Another thing that helps to a big extent with 3rd density interaction and even more so with magical protection and well being when dealing with negative entities of other planes and/or densities, perhaps best of all, and may sound very difficult or impossible at times...humor! There's nothing that confuses and enrages negative, mechanistic-thinking entities more than laughter and humor and lightness. Doing this in the face of them really makes them feel like the loser. Make fun of how stuff sucks. Be goofy, childish, and irreverent about it(they hate that) This is so much more powerful than a lot of people realize. As much as it annoys the "loyal opposition" it bolsters your positive vibration even more. It protects you by sort of taking you to a place with that humor they can't even understand, so it's harder for them to lock on to you because of the huge mismatch in vibration from them and humor. It will also help with humility and perspective for you. It's not easy a lot of times, for me as well. I hope this helps. RE: Does being STO make you a loser in the eyes of this world? Especially in societies geared towards selfishness. US is a major case. With the added problem of being perceived as 'weak' when one is well behaved, polite and sensitive. There are other cultural regions like that, but in US it seems to be prolific. In other cases the problem may not be so pronounced, but people may still take advantage of the positive person and exploit his/her behavior. The entity must develop a good sense of how society behaves and must empower good natured positivity with wise, observant application. That's what wisdom is for. |
