One technique can be observation of the circumstances or 'seeming serendipity' that leads to feeling good. No matter how severe your anxiety, if you are properly observing the self, you will notice situations where you naturally feel good. Some involve seeming distraction. Some involve external things you will find difficult to recreate. But all will involve certain thoughts and perspectives. Over time, if you observe enough of these, you will find patterns, especially patterns of your own perception and thoughts during these times. Then try to embody more of that thinking all of the time, and you will begin to feel good on a more conscious, intentional level. As always, this and other techniques are best applied along with daily meditation and daily contemplation on the subject at hand.
