How do we find our purpose?

An additional line of thought is that our general "purpose" here is to more fully discover the splendor of what we truly are.  Following the Yellow Brick Road of spiraling consciousness, we gradually become more conscious using our first energy center, the second, the third, and maybe more beyond that.  Each of these have numerous branching possibilities for exploration (some maybe not so splendid).  But if we have a "purpose," one could say it is a constant self-exploration through the means of consciousness.  

What particular direction your exploration takes you is of your own choosing, to the extent to which you are self-aware and have a pointed desire to seek/serve.  Where this all leads you is not pre-determined.  How could it be?
