How do we find our purpose? - AnthroHeart - 03-18-2019

How do we find our purpose or or soul mission for this life?

I saw a psychic lady once and asked her about relationships with me, and she said I would fall in love with a red-headed woman.
Then I told her I was gay. Then she said it would be a guy with a turban. Then I still frowned on that because
muslim religions or Sikh or turban-wearing ones are usually anti-gay from what I hear.

So I can't trust a psychic.

Though I am going to speak to one who has done angel readings for over 10 years. Maybe I can find it there.

I can't trust channeling myself, because I only hear what I want to hear.

And I can't trust the pendulum, because it lies to you until you get used to it.

And I don't know about tarot. I don't know how to read it.

I do have some angel cards, but they don't get into specifics of soul mission.

No one except you can answer that question. Meditate and ask for the answer. Everything will become clear.

RE: How do we find our purpose? - AnthroHeart - 03-18-2019

Will we be punished or somehow fall short if we do not remember our purpose and therefore do not fulfill it?
Does that mean we will have to repeat 3D?

What if we know of good ways to live, but we don't live according to the model life. Like we still drink, and we still masturbate, and we still lust and still get angry.
I am not seeking in the best terms. I cannot find a teacher, though there may be one that might help me coming up.

It's all right my brother. Doesn't matter how long time will take, the gates of evolution will open to everyone. All the entities will testify the love and the glory of the Creator. My only advice is to you meditate and seek everything you wish inside. There are no answers outside.

With mediation, mindfulness and other techniques your ability to perceive and use the catalysis will increase. Other levels of awareness will become available. These addictions and inhabits will be eliminated.

RE: How do we find our purpose? - flofrog - 03-18-2019

Wolf, you have such loving and strong intentions to be of service that even if you feel they are scattered, I don't think it is an issue. I really feel the energy coming from you is just there, and that energy helps wherever it is needed.

Also you came as a human, and honestlyI think Creator wants us to enjoy life, with time we eliminate what we have enjoyed enough. If there's one 'person' who's not going to judge you Wolf, it's Creator !! Creator experiences through You, I think Creator is lucky !!! lol

Honestly I think He has more fun experiencing through you than through me !!! BigSmile

RE: How do we find our purpose? - AnthroHeart - 03-18-2019

Thank you flofrog. I didn't know your name was flo.

Is the frog like your totem or spirit animal?

I like wolves and foxes equally.

I think Creator enjoys the opportunity of just experiencing, regardless of who it's through.

Thank you for making me aware that my intentions are scattered. Yes, I have much confusion.

But if we're confused, then I think we are innocent too.

Though I fall short, I am still innocent I think.

And your wonderful energy brings a light to me every time I read one of your posts.

Don't be hard on yourself. I think Creator enjoys experiencing through you too.

I take it you're bilingual, understanding French and English. That is more than I can say for myself.
French is such a romantic language from what I hear. But it can also be used to curse someone out.

Well I do desire to be of service, but I don't take action on that desire. I am lazy about it.
I don't go out and about and serve. I'm usually thinking of myself first.

But the service I provide is remote energy healing for those who need it.
I've tried to heal my mom of her physical ailments, but it doesn't seem to do anything. She's still in pain.
Regardless of how much she insults me, I still want her to be happy and healthy.
She once said that my purpose in life was to make her happy. I didn't agree with that.
It's hard living with her, but she will be moving away soon in a couple of months.
But I think she may fail where she tries to move and will want to come back.
She's also getting further into debt. She wants to borrow $50,000 federal loan for her house,
and I don't know how she's going to pay that, though she has idea of renting rooms to elderly people.
She's just such an angry person I don't see how anyone would get along with her.
She blames others for not liking her, but she isn't really likable.

You're much more likable flofrog.

I think I chose frog because I am very moved by them. When I was a kid in high school, in biology we had to dissect a living frog. I was appalled and thought from now on, if I can protect one I will. Thank god they stopped this. So Wolf, I really never thought about a frog being my totem but that is nice... Also as joke, french were called by Brits, frogs as they eat frogs..

I dont think you fall short, Wolf. And I so agree about being innocent. You are innocent in the best way Wolf.

You are right I speak french but perhaps since it is my mother language I am in fact much more in love with english.
I find english very musical, no wonder that rock and blues are in english and sung all around the world.

I find you enormously patient with your mum. I am so touched as you never give up about her. I find this so moving Wolf.

The purpose is what we desire. The problem is I'm not sure what is ego's wish and what is my deep desire. So I'm asking for guidance (noone is without help). In L/L Research channelings is said we should meditate and consider what life brings

RE: How do we find our purpose? - ScottK - 03-19-2019

How do you know that you haven't already found it without knowing?

Do what you love to do, and do what you are attracted to do. That's your radar. Everything in your life is a stepping stone - the good, the bad, and the ugly. Embrace all of it, find balance, no judgment, follow your conscience. The things that have been the most challenging for you may have been the real gems of your life - in future retrospect.

Some are living lives that are more about healing themselves, others are here to provide catalyst to others, some are here to raise kids, and there are some who are here to do bigger things related to society. ..Or a myriad of other things, or all of them together!

Perhaps experiencing the frustration of not being able to find your purpose is your purpose Smile - but I doubt it.

Your life may have 5000 different purposes too.

I doubt you'll find it by looking for it though, it'll probably find you when you are doing something you enjoy. Smile

RE: How do we find our purpose? - Nau7ik - 03-19-2019

I’m still asking what my purpose is. I can’t really help. One thing that’s reassuring, though, is something that I read from Q’uo: that we are already living our purpose to the best of our ability.

In the esoteric mystery tradition, our purpose is called “True Will”. This is a major goal to realize for the adept.

RE: How do we find our purpose? - AnthroHeart - 03-19-2019

My purpose can't be lusting after anthros because I enjoy doing that and it doesn't sound right.
I sometimes see myself as an object wanting to be dominated by them.

But I know I wouldn't like that if it were to happen.

Some furries (people) in the furry fandom joke about being raped by 14 werewolves and they would want that.
It's crazy what the imagination wants, but when it comes down to it, you'd change your mind.

I think what I want is a genuine heart-centered connection with an anthro being. One that is pure.
It doesn't matter if they are male or female. And I am gay. But for cuddles it would have to be male.

I talked with a spiritual lady who said that your purpose changes all the time.
I'm going to get a reading sometime within the next week with an angel reader.

RE: How do we find our purpose? - kristina - 03-19-2019

There is not punishment for anything as those of Ra state that there is no right or wrong. If you are alive you are living your purpose if you are asking why are you here. You are here to live this life. Now, there are more efficient ways to heading off your spiritual journey and one of them would be to meditate, pray and contemplate. And if you do those things, all things will become clearer and with ease. You may consider whether you have balanced your three lower energy centers (chakras), the red, orange and yellow. Again, I cannot stress enough the important of meditation for balancing these areas and quiet time in contemplation of the three areas. There is an episode from In The Now podcast where Jim speaks of his meditation exercise using his breath. This is a really wonderful way to learn to meditate or if you meditate currently, it will help with going deeper. One more thing is to fully accept one's life as it is, forgive yourself and show yourself compassion. Psychics are wonderful but this is not the spear head I would choose first.

I am trying to do just this. It gets hard often. And the loneliness makes it like a hundred times worse. I dunno how to deal with the resulting emotions when I try to show myself unconditional forgiveness and compassion or how to describe them. The feelings are very mixed. I want to break down and cry. I try meditation walks and traditional meditation to help. And healing codes. Hopefully they'll prove helpful, as I'm in a lot of pain lately.

I get very lonely too. But I trust that angels and guides are with me, so I am not left in utter despair.

I am not seeking in the best terms. I cannot find a teacher, though there may be one that might help me coming up.
Punished? Nah. Repeat 3D? Yep. If you've done everything you set out to do you will be offered 'exit points' that are not suicide. If you die having failed to learn the lesson you put yourself here to learn, well, it's 3D all over again.

Personally not convinced that masturbation is lowering vibration... at least for me it's definitely a high vibrational activity. In fact, I'm not convinced that anger is bad, but what you do with it that could be.

I don't know about these exit points. I've heard that if we have the chance to cross over, but don't take it, that we won't even remember that we were offered that chance.

I think pain is part of the deal. It's like grief: you have to feel it or it's repressed and becomes toxic. We have to feel pain and in my estimation that never stops—it's just part of the whole. By that I mean accepting the pain as part of being here (or even anywhere—I don't know). Speaking personally, my pain derives from the suffering here of all living things. Nothing I will ever do will eliminate that suffering because it is something larger than me and my actions. I can help beings I come across and maybe mitigate some of the suffering, but that won't miraculously transform the entire system whether the system is random, planned, or dynamic. I have an effect, but I don't think that's the point. The point, to me, is evolution of self as part of a whole; so changing self can affect the whole but changing the whole is not the responsibility of self.

This is a partial explanation of why I seek detachment. I don't seek to put "joy" icing over a cake of "pain." I think we have to be able to feel joy while also accepting the pain—not covering the pain up with joy. "Happiness" can be anesthetizing, making us temporarily blind to pain—but the pain is still there. So to that end, we have to accept ourselves. If we are empathetic, sensitive types, then that's what we are and people who can skate through life with "positive" attitudes and smile all the time are not better, or have less karma, or more evolved than sensitive types who find it difficult to navigate 3D.

(The following is totally paraphrased and it's been a long time since I read this so I may be off about the details.) Ram Dass talked about meditating in his backyard (or somewhere outside). His (or someone's) cat brought a dying mouse to him and was torturing it as domesticated cats will sometimes do before they eat prey. RD was in a quandary over it. He felt pain/sorrow watching the cat and the poor mouse and came to a realization that maybe that was the point—that he accept and feel his pain. That the point was not to try and take his own pain away by intervening, as the natural animal world is predicated upon predator/prey, but rather to observe self and self's pain, and feel it, accept it and not try to eliminate it or cover it up.

On the other hand, it is possible to mitigate the sorrow of this existence by taking action of some kind. Volunteering, creating beautiful things (paintings, stories, music, painting a room, making an altar, knitting, and so on), walking in nature and interacting with the flora and fauna, the sun, rain, snow, and breathing outdoor air. It's also really important to get physical exercise.

Yeah, I'm trying to do some stuff along those lines.

I am learning to play guitar, slowly. I go on meditation walks for a total of 2 hours, and I do healing codes. This is about all I can manage in a day so far. I'm taking it slow. My therapist says as little as I feel I'm doing now, he guarantees it would be a lot worse for me if I wasn't doing it.

I know pain is part of being here in the 3D, but when it feels like it's nothing but pain, there's a problem, which I'm working on. I feel terrible most days though. I just remind myself that I'm processing these emotions and that once they're processed they'll be healed. It makes them easier to handle.

General purpose here is (learning) love. Every incarnation (life of a person) has certain lessons planned. I don't think this changes but there are many possibilities how to serve and receive service according to this plan and life brings opportunities.

Circumstances, preference, personality tests, readings ... can give you some clues but I'm stil divided.

RE: How do we find our purpose? - Sacred Fool - 03-20-2019

An additional line of thought is that our general "purpose" here is to more fully discover the splendor of what we truly are.  Following the Yellow Brick Road of spiraling consciousness, we gradually become more conscious using our first energy center, the second, the third, and maybe more beyond that.  Each of these have numerous branching possibilities for exploration (some maybe not so splendid).  But if we have a "purpose," one could say it is a constant self-exploration through the means of consciousness.

What particular direction your exploration takes you is of your own choosing, to the extent to which you are self-aware and have a pointed desire to seek/serve.  Where this all leads you is not pre-determined.  How could it be?

RE: How do we find our purpose? - AnthroHeart - 03-20-2019

Someone did a reading for me on another forum, which helped shed some light on my purpose.

"I am Wolf Spirit

Discarnate in my essence, yet present everywhere, in wolves and partly in other animals.

You are attracted to me because you were a wolf in a previous life and you still remember certain particulars of your existence. I certainly remember you and you still carry my spirit in your current existence, for we never really parted from each other.

You may think of wolves as separate beings, but they're not. There is only one Wolf, in many forms, for we never ever separate from our true source, the One Wolf spirit, or consciousness, that we all share.

Whilst you are human now and you should move on in this life, fully embracing your humanity, you also should not forget us, your brethren.

We are present in all the animals around you, particularly in dogs who are but one step removed from us. You can do the most good by working with us in our many forms, making sure we are loved and taken care of. Every one of us you save from a life of misery will be an old companion from your previous lives. You have a special gift of communicating and empathising with us, therefore you can do the most good by fighting for our rights and by saving as many of us from extinction or ill-treatment as you can. Every one of us you save with your compassion and kindness will be lifted to a human existence and will be with you as your loving companions in the next life.

This is the spirit of the Wolf, speaking as one, for all canines out there, whether domestic or wild. You are one of us and we love you. We will remain in your heart always. "
