I have noticed that a strong desire for a certain experience may need to be tempered by a full acceptance of the possibility of not having the experience, or blockages may occur. Of course, the acceptance in itself doesn't do it all; the desire and work on the self is also needed.

I haven't accessed the gateway, although I've certainly had veil-piercing happenings (such as infinite love being poured at me in the night) -- if the veil really is getting thinner, would that mean easier access to the gateway as well? Often when I meditate and get to the heart, I just don't want to leave...
