I used to swim in a sea of confidence. Then I had a glimpse of how little I actually warrant the confidence I have. I have since then taken to not having a confidence and simply accepting and or defaulting for the lowest yet accetable societal role in the totem pole.

It saves me so much time that I used to spend on confidence. Now I can just work on my skills and enjoy the people, instead of working on the people and enjoying the skills.

I hope that makes sufficient sense.
