No, they're not being cached on the server. How would that work? These are fairly large files -- the largest is 12 MB. (128 bit encoding).
Re: separating questions and answers: I'm not sure. I tend to think of them as belonging together, because Ra's responses were so carefully geared to answering and elaborating on exactly what Don asked.
I completely agree. They really make it real, especially when you hear Carla come back into her body at the end.
