It was all there, with the keys given to you. Simple truths that at first seemed "too simple". But after re-reading and trying to really live in love, from the perspective of the creator, I knew it was the right thing to do. These spiritual teachers we see everywhere now, never tell you this simple truth ... instead its hours of talks and books ... that keep you close to the truth ... but never access the real "simple" truth: to live in love, every moment, every day. However, at the end of the day, if people seek a spiritual teacher and gain some benefit from him/ her, then that's good too. As Ra said, "There are no mistakes". I can answer why I study the Ra material.
I have read no other books where I felt I had learned so much about my self and the reality I experience and not only reinforced the ideas that I had discovered as truth until that point in my life while clearing up the fuzzy parts of other concepts and ideas that would prove invaluable immediately for me. It was a time of a rapid expansion and realization of a fuller, richer and deeper perspective of reality than I could have expected at that point. I felt like I had learned after I read it, not just like "well that was a nice piece of fiction, what a clever story"... more like "holy cow, they're right!" Above all that. It had helped me to build the bridge that would finally allow me to traverse those landscapes in life I fear most with a real, tangible, grounded faith in creation and her players so that no matter what I encounter in my life, no matter how scary the shadows are perceived, I need only change my vantage point and recognize the truth, that no matter where I am standing, I perceive my own reflection, and when I love myself then love is the only reflection I will see and it is everywhere. Like triple digit license plates. Once you turn your attention in that direction, it will be all you see. The beauty of it all is that, I don't know all the answers, but I can learn them if I choose to. That is what eternity is all about. This material is only the beginning. lately I have been imagining all the delicious fruit that have and will be grown out of the garden of this material by the minds and hearts in this forum. All the wonderfully delicious new ideas, collaborations and creations that were sparked by these ideas of Ra. The information or the source of the information is less important than what you decide to do with it. -love to you all

My brother heared about this Law of One somewhere and bought the books off the internet, i had no idea what it was all about at first.
for me it started with Eckhart Tolle and i still think everyone should read his books. when i started reading the Ra material, knowing nothing about it, i found that they were connected! part of the bigger truth you might say. The Ra material also gives alot of answers to the why, and not only the how.

Jim Carrey is into Eckhart Tolle.
04-11-2011, 09:27 PM
yea, i recently found that out in youtube :p
i was bored one day, looking for something to read, i found a book my father had called "a new earth" by Eckhart Tolle. "The Power of Now" should be read first though. its LOO related.

i think my mom has that. she got it from a friend.

For me, the words just resonate strongly. It all makes sense when I read it. Even if I don't understand certain parts, such as archetypes. Reading about Logos, how they form the cosmos, gives me a desire to seek and learn more. For the first time it's a philosophy that really hits home.
04-12-2011, 10:25 PM
i feel you dude.
i read the whole Ra material and i still dont know what exactly "archetype" means. on a deeper level i feel we dont need to exactly understand what Ra talks about. intuition and the way each of us feels is more important in some way, i mean each entity's journey is unique... i dont even understand what exactly "logos" means, but i dont really need to. if we didnt have Ra's teachings we would still have progress somehow. infinit possibilities... just putting my thoughts out there.

indeed we need to know we do not understand.

Thank you. i think we are here to share... i guess i was wrong in using the word "guidance", lets call it teach/learn and learn/teach. i've been sitting here for 20 minutes now trying to write the next sentence but i cant seem to put it in words. maybe later

When I first read the books I didn't much get the Tarot and archetypes, but I took comfort that Don was getting good information for himself. Also, I figured that some day it would make more sense (i.e. I would be ready for it). Decades later, I read some of it when prompted by a thread and, sure enough, it is more accessible now. I embarked on a full re-read and, when I get to that part this time, I expect to enjoy the "new" material.
As said, you get what you can now and more will come if you need it. Knowing that the learning will continue is kinda nice.

Not exactly in the Ra Material per se, but in the whole concept of the unity of all things... Because it's the best philosophy I've come across - the ramifications of it are good all around, even if I'm wrong!

I believe in the Ra material because ...
* it is like a handbook for how my soul operates. It decoded the operating system. * I've been able to attain a measure of balance and understanding that no other philosophy has provided (and I tried many lol) * it has shown me that the world & cosmos is more magical and wondrous and organised than I had ever thought possible. * it has earned my 'trust' because I have applied the principles and seen the results (as claimed by Ra). It passed the pragmatic test. * it continues to inspire me on my journey back to Unity (intelligent infinity). - - and like others, I went 'like' happy when reading the responses to this thread

I don't resontate to studying the archetypal mind that much. It's a bit much for me. I believe in my own personal archetypes that form my own biases. I resonate a lot with what Ra says about Logoi, and evolution of densities. But getting into archetypes is a bit over my head. So I form my own aspects of archetypes that resonate better with me. For instance, character archetypes and the importance of stories in creating our reality.
Wait, I'm not supposed to be seeking right now (I got into some trouble last time with too much seeking). Doh. It seems I can't stop for very long.

I believe in the Ra Material because:
1= Even though my parent's religion did not resonate with me, Spirituality did. 2= Various mystical experiences throughout my life reinforced the strength of faith I have in Spirit. 3= Jim Morrison sparked an interest in Shamanism and "the Universal Mind". 4= Babylon 5 reinforced my interest in "The Universal Mind" and sparked some faith in Reincarnation. 5= A number of clear conscious telepathic conversations with invisible guides solidified my faith in Shamanism. 6= I discovered contemporary Channeling 20 years to the day that the Ra contact began. 7= I trust Carla For the sake of Love and Light Jim
The LOO do not judge, the distorted religions does.
My third eye became active after I did some research on the LOO. For me, this is a sign that I'm on the right path. There are no false teachings like in the Abrahimic religions such as an angry God, punishment and hell. The LOO states that all life is in progressing, some are slower than others.

I believe in the Ra material because:
1) I believe I can fly 2) I believe I can touch the Sky 3) I think about it every night and day 4) I spread my wings and fly away 5) I believe I can soar 6) I see me running through that open door 7) I believe I can fly
04-18-2014, 06:29 PM
That resonates with the third eye rie. Confirmation tone above head and synchronicities reinforcing the idea. 11:11

It feels right inside. But I also don't limit myself to only believing TLOO. I stay open to whatever comes my way, and I choose to digest it and move on, if it feel right. Or I just put it to the side and keep going if it doesn't.

That is my policy as well, Conifer.

Intuition - The pure sense of knowing without reason.
I think most of us here are more intuitive than intellectual. We don't rely on rational and reason but float along with faith (inner compass) Also I feel that when we live a conscientious life in so much that you treat others with the sincerest of intentions as often as you are able, we naturally gravitate to others that vibrate on that similar tone. Here is a quote from a Greek philosopher that Ra mentioned, Heraclitus. I have a picture on my wall of this quote so when Ra said that this philosopher was one of few in the Greek period, that were in harmony with the Law of One, it added a greater depth of trust from my point of view. "The soul is died the colour of its thoughts. Think only those things that can bare the full light of day. The content of your character is your choice. Day by day, what you choose, what you think and what you do is who you become. Your INTEGRITY is your destiny, it is the light that guides your way." So my point here is when we integrate this understanding into our conscious mind it becomes much easier to identify others that are guided by that same purity of heart and mind. It is not so much the success of this kind of aspiration but more the hearts sincerity in trying to maintain it through our daily lives.

(04-21-2014, 05:25 AM)nio Wrote: Intuition - The pure sense of knowing without reason. Actually, I was completely the opposite before finding this philosophy. I was and still am very intellectual/analytical in my thought processes. This was the first exposure to metaphysical information that I had ever read because I considered such things nonsense prior to this as I was all about facts and logic When I first stared reading the hidden hand thread, I thought to myself "well this is an interesting piece of fiction." Then as I kept reading, I became more and more engrossed with the story. I ended up reading the entire thread in a day then immediately turned to the Ra material. As I'm reading the Ra material, my head was telling me "this is way too crazy" but something else was saying " this can't be false!" I kept reading and reading and finished the entire Ra material in the matter of days. If I wasn't with a patient at work, I was reading on my phone. I cut off all social interactions at work and focused on the books. For me, it had to pass all kinds of BS flags yet the further I read, the less these flags appeared. It simply made sense and there was no amount of logic that would get in the way of truly believing that this crazy stuff was actually true. I've never read or heard something more true in my life. As they say, I wasn't learning something, I was remembering something. |
