When i remember things from my past....i am an observer. I'm never the same person i was in that moment of recollection.
For me, remembering my past is part of my awakening...i am remembering things i have not thought of in years, and it's to piece together who i am, and what i am here to do.
Also, my memories serve as lessons, to remember how i may have felt at any given time or situation, is to put myself in another's shoes, and have more patience and empathy for people who are going through life's little trials.
My father who is 72 recently told me...
When you are young, life seems "normal"...life and people move around you, and you are able to keep up and make sense of it, and there are only little pockets of insanity....where the world seems crazy.... But when you get older, everyone and everything seems to be moving so fast around you, it's hard to keep up and make sense of the world....and there are less and less pockets of sanity, and more & more pockets of INSANITY!
LOL i love my dad! <3
