Does anyone know anything about TimeWave theories and what they're based on? Apparently Terence McKenna is the one who started this? I understand that it postulates a spiral of repeating patterns, but I don't understand where the data comes from, that they use to make those graphs. Is there anything to this?

I read his Timewave Zero book. It's based on his interpretation of the I ching. Good book.

Had some previous discussions on the topic here, along with some experimental data.

It's based on novelty; significant occurrences either in relation to technology or social matters (historical events). We were just discussing this a little bit the other day in the 'Time' thread in the advanced forum..starting on page 14.

No, but it sounds like a good book. I see a mention of the I-Ching when reading reviews.

A great book and the short stories at the end, especially.

Have you read Siddhartha? Another good book by the same author, Hermann Hesse.

Hello, I just ran into this thread. I had earlier posted a video on Terence McKenna's observations on Time and the I Ching at the 'Mysterious Nature of Time' thread. I have not heard of him much before.

I am trying to build some content there around the I Ching and Time, for my personal spiritual exploration and education, and for individuals who may be interested. It is my signal to the Conscious Cosmos that I am consciously seeking Wink Smile Tongue
