TimeWave Theories (Terence McKenna) - Monica - 08-25-2011 Does anyone know anything about TimeWave theories and what they're based on? Apparently Terence McKenna is the one who started this? I understand that it postulates a spiral of repeating patterns, but I don't understand where the data comes from, that they use to make those graphs. Is there anything to this? http://wemustknow.net/2010/04/terence-mckennas-time-wave-theory/ RE: TimeWave Theories (Terence McKenna) - Eddie - 08-25-2011 I read his Timewave Zero book. It's based on his interpretation of the I ching. Good book. RE: TimeWave Theories (Terence McKenna) - Tenet Nosce - 08-27-2011 Had some previous discussions on the topic here, along with some experimental data. RE: TimeWave Theories (Terence McKenna) - native - 08-27-2011 It's based on novelty; significant occurrences either in relation to technology or social matters (historical events). We were just discussing this a little bit the other day in the 'Time' thread in the advanced forum..starting on page 14. Here's a video of him discussing the graph http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O09_nU9L3LA RE: TimeWave Theories (Terence McKenna) - BrownEye - 08-27-2011 Big drop on august 30. Hello, I just ran into this thread. I had earlier posted a video on Terence McKenna's observations on Time and the I Ching at the 'Mysterious Nature of Time' thread. I have not heard of him much before. I am trying to build some content there around the I Ching and Time, for my personal spiritual exploration and education, and for individuals who may be interested. It is my signal to the Conscious Cosmos that I am consciously seeking ![]() ![]() ![]() |
