Santana from his Welcome album (1973) (09-21-2012, 03:01 PM)AnUncomplicatedLove Wrote:(12-23-2011, 10:16 PM)Parsons Wrote: this song as well as 3 other songs from the same album were the straw that broke the camels back in terms of my awakening. (that along with Arrested Development and the Venture Brothers) It made me aware of my distortions. I would be laughing at something someone did in the show that I thought was silly then realize that it was a behavior I sometimes exhibited yet had no idea I was doing it. Once I was able to see that distortion or any distortion, I was able to find the root cause for it's behavior and choose to continue with the distortion or not. Most of the distortions were lessons not learned which were left over from childhood, hence "Arrested Development".

Benedictus by the Strawbs, from the album Grave New World. It was written by bandleader David Cousins in 1972 after consulting the I Ching as to how to proceed in the future.
The wanderer has far to go Humble must he constant be Where the paths of wisdom Distant is the shadow of the setting sun. Bless the daytime Bless the night Bless the sun which gives us light Bless the thunder Bless the rain Bless all those who cause us pain. Yellow stars may lead the way All diversions lead astray While his resolution holds Fortune and good will will surely follow him. Bless the free man Bless the slave Bless the hero in his grave Bless the soldier Bless the saint Bless all those whose hearts grow faint.

I dunno why but my iPod's shuffle feature seems to be loving this band this week:
I feel my crown chakra activate at the beginning of that 'Atlantis to Interzone' song every time for some reason

I felt like posting about Funkadelic's 1971 album 'Maggot Brain.' The topics on the album seem to have a lot to do with Law of One principles. It opens with a monologue that goes "Mother Earth is pregnant for the third time, cause y'all have knocked her up. I have tasted the maggots in the mind of the Universe. I was not offended, because I realized that I had to rise above it all . . . or drown in my own s***."
here's my two favourite tracks from the album.

Corridors of time: song of this place: http://chrono.wikia.com/wiki/Zeal Quote:"This is the eternal kingdom of Zeal, where dreams can come true. But at what price?" Interesting storyline i'll admit. Still like to listen to these from time to time to ground myself in "this has all happened before" Combined with the song: http://youtu.be/O9GBmpzLec4 Feels like a lesson in history and 12.000BC. I can imagine Ra arriving in an era like that and having the locals behave exacly like they did in chrono trigger. Treat it as a god and seek to get power from it. Storyline is "time travel / interdimensional love / saving the planet / fate" Comes highly recommended if you can tolerate some amount of digital violence.

I can't stop listening to this song... imo it is about the end of 3D and instant ascension. Been listening to it since yesterday, one week before dec. 21. I am sure it is just coincidence.

Tattva, acintya bheda bheda tattva (4 times)
Like the flower and the scent of summer Like the sun and the shine Well the truth may come in strange disguises Send a message to your mind Tattva, acintya bheda bheda tattva (4 times) At the moment that you wake from sleeping And you know it's all a dream Well the truth may come in strange disguises Never knowing what it means Tattva, acintya bheda bheda tattva (4 times) For you shall be tomorrow Like you have been today If this was never ending What more can you say?

The chorus of the song is: Tattva, acintya bheda abheda Tattva. In Hindu philosophy tattva is a Sanskrit word meaning 'thatness', 'principle', 'essence', 'reality' or 'truth'.[3] Likewise, acintya can mean 'the inconceivable', 'the unthinkable', or 'he who cannot be imagined',[4] bheda translates as 'difference', and abheda translates as 'one-ness'. For this song, acintya might best be thought of in terms of apophatic theology, also known as 'divine darkness', a Christian notion whereby God is so far beyond our conceptions that we can only speak of what God is not. Not that the word acintya would necessarily correspond to our Western idea of God, but the same kind of ineffable mystery is implied here. As such, one possible translation of the chorus would be: "Truth, Mystery, difference oneness Truth."
That refers to post 77 of course, didn't see there was a new post in the meantime "sips from wineglass"

There's a starman waiting in the sky Hed like to come and meet us But he thinks he'd blow our minds There's a starman waiting in the sky Hes told us not to blow it Cause he knows it's all worthwhile

Heard this on the radio today.
It's a wanderer's song. Bon Jovi - Who says you can't go home. It encourages me, because I had the fear that I couldn't go home to a higher density, which I believe I am from.
I can't believe I overlooked this song for so long. It really seems to me like SOAD has similar ideas when it comes to Spirit.

First time I heard this song i left my physical body and flew past various planets. I'm still unsure to the how's and the why's I would only suggest sitting quietly and closing your eyes and let the music do the rest.

That we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves. Here's Tom with the weather."

Any minute now my ship is coming in I'll keep checking the horizon And I'll stand on the bow And feel the waves come crashing Come crashing down, down, down on me And you said,"Be still, my love Open up your heart Let the light shine in" Don't you understand? I already have a plan I'm waiting for my real life to begin When I awoke today suddenly nothing happened But in my dreams I slew the dragon And down this beaten path And up this cobbled lane I'm walking in my own footsteps once again And you say,"Just be here now Forget about the past Your mask is wearing thin" Let me throw one more dice I know that I can win I'm waiting for my real life to begin Any minute now my ship is coming in I'll keep checking the horizon And I'll check my machine There's sure to be that call It's gonna happen soon, soon, oh so very soon It's just that times are lean And you say,"Be still, my love Open up your heart Let the light shine in" Don't you understand? I already have a plan I'm waiting for my real life to begin Hey heyeyeyeyey Hey yeeeeeee Hey heyeyeyeyey Eeh eeh eeh eeh eh x5 On a clear day I can see, see for a long way On a clear day I can see, see a very long way

I have been wondering about Red Hot Chili Peppers for quite some time now. I have suspected they are in some way knowledgeable of the Law of One. I recently took a strong fancy to this song as it's full of love. The song is about the lead singer's therapist while he was going through rehab who passed away. The bolded text highlights parts which I take as signs of a viewpoint of understanding that we emanate from spirit (we are spirit having a physical experience), italicized text is my comment/interpretation:
