Songs to Awaken You - Parsons - 12-23-2011 I have wanted to start this thread since I first found this forum, but I decided to wait a bit to catch up on some more LOO / Q'uo wisdom. Now that I have finally adjusted, I wish to share a huge source of "Olio" for me: music. Specifically: songs talking about the veil(and government involvement in amplifying the veil), the harvest, and wanderers (we are supposed to be fools and geniuses rolled into one body, aren't we?). I will split each song into is own post as I plan on posting several songs with my interpretation of the lyrics that I think related to the LOO. I invite any comments or questions even if you disagree with my view. I also invite you to post a your song in much the same format so maybe one of you can expose a song I haven't recognized / heard yet. I am posting this as well as trying to categorize them so people might remember the song in a dark moment that they feel that they can relate to it... And remember the light and thus warm their heart and make it easier to get through whatever situation ails them. =OD Love and light. -=- I settled on the first song being Simon & Garfunkel's "Sound of Silence" -This song (IMO) is resoundingly about the veil and the "planetary game" that Q'uo often references in the LOO. Quote:Hello darkness, my old friendThe speaker talks about a "dream"/vision they had that left pearls/seeds of some kind of message. Quote:In restless dreams I walked aloneThe speaker starts recounting what he remembers of his dream. It is grim but he did not despair (he turned his collar of all the cold water accumulating there, shaking off the negative energy). He was suddenly distracted by an obnoxious neon sign flickering in his vision. Quote:And in the naked light I sawHis upturned vision and the illuminating flicker gives him a brief glimpse that he is not the one waking up. There are many that can talk without opening their mouths and can hear you without a word ever crossing your lips. But they are afraid to speak out. They write songs that they never sing aloud, afraid that some guy in a suit or a uniform would show up at their house and take them away. No-body dares directly try interfere with the "planetary game" that is in effect (nobody dares disturb the sound of silence, or the censoring/silencing entities out there) Quote:"Fools", said I, "You do not knowThe speaker tries to reason with this group that he perceives as partially/potentially enlightened to the crushing planetary veil. They respond with "Fool, You do not know". They do this is a public forum usually (because they are programmed to want to shame people publicly), so "silence like a cancer grows" to some of the onlookers that fall for the lie and will eventually perpetuate it in a cancerous fashion. The speaker emphatically asks the listener to hear his words and take his hands in his own that he might "reach them" (foolishly trying to force the information on the listener, which results in his words falling like silent raindrops into wells of silence, which resonate and further spread disinformation/humiliation on his part, thus spreading the negative instead of the intended positive. IMO). Quote:And the people bowed and prayedAs a result, they go back and listen to the path of least resistance / the one screaming the loudest "the neon god they made". The speaker adds that the words of the same profit flash a warning, yet still fell into silence. The speaker points out that you may find intense wisdom in the least likely places (subway walls and tenement halls), as many of these people are labeled "kooks" by society so "certain" governments can stop the spread of the truth behind the lies. Enjoy :¬) RE: Dunc's "songs for wanderer's" thread - Parsons - 12-23-2011 -=- Warning: video is creepy(IMO) but interesting... Not sure how the video relates to the lyrics Queens of the Stone Age - The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret -I think this song is about the veil and an encounter with a STS entity, as well as awakening from the veil. This song is a bit abstract so its hard to nail down EXACTLY what they were talking about, so remember this is just my interpretation. For me personally, this song as well as 3 other songs from the same album were the straw that broke the camels back in terms of my awakening. (that along with Arrested Development and the Venture Brothers =OD ) Quote:I've got a secret, I cannot sayThis is about a STS entity / group (or perhaps even an organized religion) trying to recruit the speaker. They tell the speaker "You've got something that I understand because I have it too." Then tells the speaker that he can have whatever reward the STS entity is hawking. The STS later demands a "leap of faith" and demands to know if the speaker "doubts". The speaker must have resisted, because the STS entity then does the "I can cut you out just as easily as I cut you in!" dance. The song breaks into the chorus which is used throughout, which is the feeling the speaker immediately gets and was told by pretty much everyone involved: "whatever you do, dont tell anyone, because they will just think youre crazy." The speaker is on the verge of awakening, so he spends a lot of time trying to reflect upon himself to see where he went wrong and things go so bad. Also, now that he knows about STS entities and their games, he gains further motivation to reflect to try to find any other STS manipulations that he didn't detect in his past. He starts investigating some of what the "kooks" are saying because it sounds eerily familiar to the STS he just encountered. "I never believed them, I never assumed", is referring to the kooks that he never gave the least bit of credit to in the past (precisely my position just months ago). Suddenly he notices the lies and manipulation around him. He also notices that all these people around him are awake and aware of the planetary games, but hesitate to go screaming from the rooftops about it ("We've got something to reveal; No one can know how we feel") Quote:I think you already know He re-emphasizes how hard it is to restrain himself from telling everyone the secret... He then makes what I think is at least a double entendre(if not tripple): "And I'm taking my song to the grave" which is ironic since hes currently singing it loudly for all the word to hear, technically. The triple entendre comes with what I think the statement is really about: a tip of the cap to all the others who try to do what he does; which could be labeled semi-descriptively "The lost art of keeping a secret". Which, in a nutshell, is making a song about a secret then singing it to the sheeple, who never receive or interpret the message right before their eyes/ears because they never learn to think for themselves. RE: Dunc's "songs for wanderer's" thread - Parsons - 12-26-2011 Switchfoot - Meant to Live -This song is, once again, about the veil. It's meaning is pretty straightforward and obvious in the context of this forums. No need for description of lyrics. =O) Quote:Fumbling his confidence RE: Dunc's "songs for wanderer's" thread - Parsons - 12-31-2011 Idea: Im going to just post the lyrics / the song(video) and highlight parts which ~in my opinion~ relate to the LOO. Liet, that type type of music usually isnt my cup of tea, but reading/listening to the words, they seem relate to relate to higher knowledge of the LOO / and the veil. Actually sounds like something out of the David Wilcock article that is under a lot of discussion lately . Quote:No time to wonder how when or why, we simply come together or die. Good stuff. @Meerie: Thank you so much for sharing this! It even goes towards my theory that much of our music is seeded with this information trying to wake us up. RE: Dunc's "songs for wanderer's" thread - Meerie - 01-02-2012 Glad you like it ! the mythic call still gives me goosebumps every time I watch it another wanderer song imo is this: Well, I came upon a child of God He was walking along the road And I asked him, Tell where are you going? This he told me Said, I'm going down to Yasgur's Farm, Gonna join in a rock and roll band. Got to get back to the land and set my soul free. We are stardust, we are golden, We are billion year old carbon, And we got to get ourselves back to the garden. Well, then can I walk beside you? I have come to lose the smog, And I feel myself a cog in somethin' turning. But then maybe it's the time of man. And I don't know who I am, But life is for learning. We are stardust, we are golden, We are billion year old carbon, And we got to get ourselves back to the garden. We are stardust, we are golden, We are billion year old carbon, And we got to get ourselves back to the garden. By the time we got to Woodstock, We were half a million strong And everywhere was a song and a celebration. And I dreamed I saw the bomber jet planes Riding shotgun in the sky, Turning into butterflies Above our nation. We are stardust, we are golden, We are caught in the devils bargain, And we got to get ourselves back to the garden. Or has it just begun? There's a place I like to hide A doorway that I run through in the night Relax child, you were there But only didn't realize And you were scared It's a place where you will learn To face your fears, retrace the years And ride the whims of your mind Commanding in another world Suddenly, you'll hear and see This magic new dimension I Will be watching over you I am gonna help you see it through I Will protect you in the night I am smiling next to you In silent lucidity... Spoken: Visualize your dream (Yes) Record it in the present tense (Don't be scared) Put it into a permanent form If you persist in your efforts You can achieve a dream control (Control) (How're you doing today?) (Better?) Dream come true Dream come true Dream come true Help me... If you open your mind for me You won't rely on open eyes to see The walls you built within Come tumbling down And a new world will begin Living twice at once you learn You're safe from pain in the dream domain A soul set free to fly A round trip journey in your head Master of illusion, can you realize? Your dream's alive, you can be the guide but... I Will be watching over you I am gonna help you see it through I Will protect you in the night I am smiling next to you... Great movie. I know this song is overplayed, but I can't seem to escape being interested in the lyrics. The song sounds like it was written from the past perspective (past life) of a very successful STS human. The line about a castle being built on pillars of sand reminds me heavily of the Lightning Struck Tower from the tarot. Also interesting: Weezer covered this song and made the album cover the guy who plays the character "Hurley" from Lost... which is creepy if you've watched the series. Todd Rundgren - A Dream Goes On Forever RE: Dunc's "songs for wanderer's" thread - Parsons - 03-16-2012 This one is a metaphor for how I feel from the reactions from people that have their heads firmly buried in the sand when I try to tell them something about corruption. They act as if I professed to them "fairies wear boots, you gotta believe me". RE: Dunc's "songs for wanderer's" thread - Parsons - 03-24-2012 This one has a lot of LOO references. By LOO references. I am not talking about the label they slapped on the the Ra Material, I am talking about the true LOO that Ra attempts to explain to us.
