Late to the subject…but “running away”….within the LOO…is this an STO act or an STS act? How does this serve others? What effect will this act have beyond your personal satisfaction? I’m not trying to be a stick in the mud, but contemplation of the consequences of an act, both spiritually and physically, is part of the “the choice”. Not just in this instance, but in every decision of every day.

Who is to know? Ones path in running away may lead to a life of STOS, whereas staying where one is may lead to STS, ...or vice versa. One cannot base doing or not doing something unless it is in the immediate. If we were to worry about this, we wouldn't ever leave the nest.

I don’t believe that the wind blows one to STO or STS. I believe that STO or STS is a conscious decision followed by thousands of conscious decisions in the flow of life. This is the meaning of “The Choice”…its not enough to just say “I choose STO or STS. Your choice is reflected by your actions.

Eneary is on a website based upon the teachings of the LOO. He is contemplating doing something and is wondering how that fits in with what he has learned or is learning. Free will guarantees us just that. But suggestions on how to frame a major decision within the LOO are simply that….suggestions. He can take it or leave it.

But we are not leaves on the wind to be blown hither and yonder. We are thinking beings who participate in life, catalyst and reaction to catalyst. Living in the moment does not abdicate one from active participation in lifes decisions.
