Not just in this instance, but in every decision of every day.

Who is to know? Ones path in running away may lead to a life of STOS, whereas staying where one is may lead to STS, ...or vice versa. One cannot base doing or not doing something unless it is in the immediate. If we were to worry about this, we wouldn't ever leave the nest.
I don’t believe that the wind blows one to STO or STS. I believe that STO or STS is a conscious decision followed by thousands of conscious decisions in the flow of life. This is the meaning of “The Choice”…its not enough to just say “I choose STO or STS. Your choice is reflected by your actions.

I agree. What I should have written was:
Who is to know? Ones path in running away may lead to the decision of a life of STOS, whereas staying may lead the decision of a life of STS, ...or vice versa. One cannot base doing or not doing something on fear of the consequences. If we were to worry about this, we wouldn't ever leave the nest.
