Why do we all see things so differently? I don't know. But I suspect if we did we'd know a lot more than we do. I don't think it matters, really.
... The ball of light could be anything, but only you may discover what it is for you. Might be angel/alien friends who you only see in a vague way so far. Might be your vision opening into other dimensions. Might be some brain anomaly (stay off the cheese!) But it's all interesting."
I would bet you're a fabulous teacher, Taha. So many who teach more spirituality- or energy-centered topics put, imo, too much effort into defining the experience of the matter rather than encourage personal discovery. My Reiki teacher taught the 'proper use' of colored energy as an in-depth aspect of Reiki healing. Being much less outspoken than I am now, I had to learn the whole thing by rote (she tested us on the lessons) because at the time I had absolutely zero color perception with energy. A few years after I'd finished the class I finally spoke with her about it, and she actually changed that aspect of the lessons to acknowledge and honor that not everyone sees in colors and that, even among those who do, what colors indicate can vary from one person's perceptions to the next.
My own energy perception is much more tactile; I feel heat, cold, and various vibratory frequencies; when working with healing energy, I feel these in various parts of my body according to what I need in terms of information and guidance in focusing healing energy.
My physical eyes have a condition called "anomalous trichromacy" which limits my perception of color. For a long time after my energy perceptions opened I really despaired that I couldn't 'see' energy in colors beyond a spectrum of white and shades of gray and purple. Finally came to understand that for me it's not about the mode of perception so much as the ability to perceive. Resigned myself to not seeing energy colors. Then about a year ago this was opened to me as well. The colors I perceive are still not real clear or sharp, for the most part, but I'm enjoying it.
As for orbs - I agree, Taha, the originations of such things can vary; when I see orbs (not really often) they are the 'energy signatures' of non-physical entities. This is very clearly my experience; however, I would never presume to define an orb's meaning or makeup based on someone else's description. Nice to be able to offer one's own experience as a point of sharing, though! Sharing can be so valuable.
