Indigo blue orb - has anyone seen anything like this? (updated link) - Wintersun - 04-09-2009 Hi! This is my first post here! I'm glad to be a part of this community, and I must say this new website looks truly awesome! Some of you might know me from Divine Cosmos forum. Yep, this is the same Wintersun (except my nick there doesn't have a captial W hehehe). Just to avoid any confusions, I also posted a pretty identical post there. Hope you don't mind ![]() Later I plan to submit my own "wanderer story" here on the forum, but first I would like to show you something I've discovered just recently! This one started happening about 6 months ago. Whenever I would stare in darkness, or close my eyes, many times this nice vision would appear. It looks like its IN FRONT of my eyes, and not in my head, so I'm quite sure it's a genuine "vision" of some sort. Here's a simple GIF animation I made. (if you see it moving slowly, than it hasn't fully loaded yet - animation should be very smooth) ![]() It also appears to have a goldenish aura around it, but I didn't put it in the animation cos I'm not entirely sure it's always there. The entire vision is not always so clear when I see it. Most of the time its a bit blurry. Now, what happens when I stare at it a little longer? Well, it appears that it envelopes my entire view, and I'm not 100% sure, but I think I'm getting some sort of images. A few times I've seen planets and the universe. Also, something similar appeared to me while I was debating spirituality with a friend over phone. Suddenly a blue flame appeared in front of me, and disappeared after 2-3 seconds. It looked like a blue fireball. That time I didn't have to close my eyes, nor do anything special. It just appeared in front of me. The color was very intensive, and not transparent at all. So, has anyone had any similar experiences, and can anyone give me any more info on what this is? Any input would be welcome ![]() Thanks! Dino RE: Indigo blue orb - has anyone seen anything like this? - Memorandem - 04-09-2009 I told you on Chat what I think. I also figured out what you meant when you said that thing about trusting someone. ;P - Memorandem RE: Indigo blue orb - has anyone seen anything like this? (updated link) - B61zz13 - 04-13-2009 Now that you mention it, I see that same effect in darkness, but it consists of the colors red and blue. The colors red and blue flash back and forth in an almost indistinguishable and random manner (almost as if they were mixed) and get "sucked in", then darkness sets in and the whole process starts again. This occurs most of time when I fix my eyesight to look forward. I just stare with little effort and it appears. It covers the majority of the center of my eyesight. About the "fireball" phenomenon, I've also been seeing this blue dot of "light" in front of me at somewhat random times. It's quite vibrant and appears in different parts of my eyesight. I'm not so sure if one, both, or none of these happenings are cause because of standing in front of a computer monitor for hours a day. I hope it's a good sign ![]() RE: Indigo blue orb - has anyone seen anything like this? Now that seems pretty much the same, except that the colors are somehow different! Carla gave me several explanations of what it may be on the chat this saturday, and one that struck me most was that this could be something like an afterimage of accessing the intelligent infinity. This was just a guess, but it gave great deal to think about. Later you can see it when admins release the transcript. About that fireball, no, in my case it wasn't a dot (though I see dots all the time, and they are white). In my case it was much much bigger. I'd say some 10 cm in diameter. And it really seemed "fiery".. Like it quickly appeared and then burned out in front of me. Dino RE: Indigo blue orb - has anyone seen anything like this? (updated link) - Ali Quadir - 04-14-2009 I don't want to discourage you all, but the first things you see when you close your eyes and if you pay very careful attention to it is the random discharges of neurons. There's a bunch of neuronal activity that subtly affects our vision. And if you want to venture into that terrain I think it's a good idea to know one from the other, to avoid embarrassing situations. Been there done that. And I think your .gif is a great visualization of the effect. Like I said I don't want to discourage, it means you're able to pay attention to very subtle signals. I've heard psychics report this type of motion before they started seeing flashes of images. They basically said, wait until you see this, then wait a little more and images will appear. I don't have the source, it was an Internet article so I cannot promise accuracy from personal experience :-/ But according to them this vision would be an image that tells you you're on the threshold. To be honest, I've seen the effect but not the images ![]() RE: Indigo blue orb - has anyone seen anything like this? Well, if you ask me, everything esoteric and spiritual perfectly co relates with physical experiences, one way or another. I don't see anything discouraging here... Or maybe I didn't get your point? ![]() I totaly agree that this has some materialistic explanation, but as you said yourself, it also appears to have a deeper esoteric side to it. And this perfectly makes sense to me. So why choose only one side, when you can choose both, and get a far universal picture? As for the images, yes, after staring at it, as I mentioned, I did get some images ![]() But still, why do you think you are discouraging? You mean, becose it has a materialistic (neurons) explanation? I was counting on a material explenation, but as I said, you gave me both ![]() Again, thank you so much! And lol, this animation is really nothing special compared to all the animations out there... considering how unsophisticated this animation is, I spent way to much time getting it right, heheheeh See ya! Dino RE: Indigo blue orb - has anyone seen anything like this? (updated link) - Ali Quadir - 04-15-2009 Dear Wintersun, Experience taught me that if you mention a rational explanation around people who decided they had a spiritual experience you don't usually get the friendly and open response you gave me. Usually I become the totally close minded critic.. Even IF I claim to be from another planet on another topic.. :-/ I have a tendency to always end up in the opposing corner paradoxally because I try to find the middle path. But that means to everyone on the left that I am on the right. And that means to everyone on the right that I am in the left. Which is why I pick my words more carefully these days. And like I said, I don't intend to discourage. Only to advance understanding by adding my own two cents. I fully agree with you.. Matter and spirit are two sides of the same medal. There is only one. However there are two ways of looking at this one object. One of these ways of looking at it slows down the wild conclusions, the other suggests it. For some reason most people who remember past lives have been kings, priestesses, or are from atlantis. Preferably both. People feel a tingle on their earlobe and believe their long dead grandmother is talking to them. They burn a candle, and the light flickers, ergo their spell has been heard. Worse, the candle goes out, so the only logical explanation is a ghost... right? Wrong ![]() I know, from a distance, this girl who must be 20 about now. She is exceptionally bright and focussed. And she was this when she was 13. She did not hide her focus properly and at 13 she actually had 40 year old groupies. Which was fun at first but caused her suffering later on when they refused to understand she needed to be a girl and not a guru. Because they had all their complicated 40 year old issues projected on her they stopped seeing her for what she was. Because every itch or tarot card indicated what they wanted to see. Not what they saw. And while this girl truly is special. I've met her and she literally went inside of me to grab the things she was curious after. But she's a child, how was she supposed to be the answer to their questions? While I believe all experience, including the imagined, is real. I do not believe all of it is relevant to our current experience. And it's better to simplify, and not complicate our lives. Discernment is key. It is vital. It is knowing where you're going. Especially if you want to explore your psychic self it is important to discern between the real and the imagined. Which in the end boils down to seeing the difference between the important and the unimportant. If you sit down to practice any form of psychic art you tend to get what they disrespectfully call the brain farts. Mine are purple flashes in my peripheral vision. I call it a brain fart which is similar to aching muscles after sports. Only on the mental plane. Nice to know you're doing something. But not exactly the end goal. Pleased to meet you ![]() RE: Indigo blue orb - has anyone seen anything like this? (updated link) - Wintersun - 04-15-2009 @Ali Quadir: Thank you for such detailed reply.. Really got me thinking! But what exactly do you suggest I do? I mean, all I wish is to help, and if there are any potentials, I wish use them. If at any point I should realize it has no meaning at all... So be it ![]() I have ignored my spiritual side for several years, and it took me a while to get back on the track. I used to be a musician, and a quite good one actually. But after awakening to the 2012 stuff, I just felt this incredible need to DO something. To HELP. And no matter how I love this music, I left it, simply to catch up spiritually, make up for the lost time, and do what I'm meant to do. If I'm sent here with a purpose, no matter how hard it is for me, I will do it. I mean, what good could I do by being just another underrated musician? So many people are musicians, and yet very few PEOPLE are aware of such things. So it was natural that I chose the path that is currently more needed for this world. However, I would like to ask you to also check out my wanderer story here on the forum. It might bring you a greater insight on my situation, if you're interested. About the middle path you're taking, yes, I'm sure you've noticed we think quite alike ![]() And I KNOW what is it like when people WISH to believe, and turn anything spiritual into damn dogmatic religion, and become so attached to it that they can't take anything against it. Not my style at all. I prefer to seeing the things from outside the box, rather then being in it. The story of the little girl says it all. Very inspirational, to say the least. I've seen that many times. People always searching for a savior, for someone to ease their pain, and ultimately make them feel good. And special, in some cases. As for the brain fart analogy, I couldn't agree more. But if those brain farts provide me with the ability to better serve others, so be it. At least I did my best, and didn't just let them pass by without even trying. And if you said some psychics said this has something to do with what they're doing, well then, I might have just found my purpose. If not, again, at least I tried. Btw, could you try to locate this article you mentioned? EDIT: forgot to mention... I'm not so sure this is imagined, since I see it BEFORE my eyes, not "in my head", as you would normally imagine things. This perfectly looks like its in front of me. Then pay attention and openings will occur where people can accept your help. It's not always the way you intended it. For example, I had been praying to be of assistance like you I think around 2 years ago now. And there were an extraordinary amount of folks who suddenly wanted to move fridges/washing machines and new couches in and out of their homes. And they were messing about right when I happened to stroll by. And my first impression was "That's not going to work"... So I helped, and they were gratefull and it was all cool. If you want to help for 2012 just polish your heart. I am not of the opinion that special physical services are required. But the more we can radiate love with this heart the more it will affect the people around us. And let go of strong hopes or fears. They distract from what is. If you do these two, polish the heart, and remove hopes or fears you will become brighter on one end and your perception will be more accurate on the other. This will put you in a position to be of other use. Without deciding at this point what that use is. My mother is a musician I was raised with private concerto's about 2 or 3 times a day. But unfortunately I inherited my talent for music from my father... I don't know anything more able to touch us spiritually than music. Maybe your explorations will serve a purpose in your life later on. I do not pretend to hold the answers. But it seems unlikely to me that this was time lost. In my honest opinion, give in to the call of the music when it comes. Enjoy it. It is yours to enjoy. It is a gift. As you deepen your spirituality, you will express it in your music. It is one of the most direct spiritual transfers available to mankind. RE: Indigo blue orb - has anyone seen anything like this? (updated link) - Eddie - 04-25-2009 I saw an orb.... and it wasn't indigo. It was, I think, in the summer or fall of '07, very late one night, about 1:30 or 2:00 in the morning. I couldn't sleep, and was on my right side, at the edge of the bed, looking toward the wall. There was an orb, brilliantly irridescent, and about the size of a peach or a baseball. It was just out of arm's reach. I blinked my eyes and moved around to make sure I wasn't just imagining it. I wasn't...it was real. The light was like the light emanating from old-fashioned flash cubes, but it wasn't blinding. It almost looked like solid light. I watched it for about 5 or 6 seconds, and then it slowly faded away. This event happened at a time that I was having a lot of experiences with discarnate spirits and other odd events. I may write about them on this web site some time. RE: Indigo blue orb - has anyone seen anything like this? (updated link) - pluralone - 06-16-2009 Taha wrote, "With regard to balls of light/energy, I've found the same thing happens. Some see a ball of light, some see an 'angel', some see an 'alien', some see just a vague glow in the air. Why do we all see things so differently? I don't know. But I suspect if we did we'd know a lot more than we do. I don't think it matters, really. ... The ball of light could be anything, but only you may discover what it is for you. Might be angel/alien friends who you only see in a vague way so far. Might be your vision opening into other dimensions. Might be some brain anomaly (stay off the cheese!) But it's all interesting." I would bet you're a fabulous teacher, Taha. So many who teach more spirituality- or energy-centered topics put, imo, too much effort into defining the experience of the matter rather than encourage personal discovery. My Reiki teacher taught the 'proper use' of colored energy as an in-depth aspect of Reiki healing. Being much less outspoken than I am now, I had to learn the whole thing by rote (she tested us on the lessons) because at the time I had absolutely zero color perception with energy. A few years after I'd finished the class I finally spoke with her about it, and she actually changed that aspect of the lessons to acknowledge and honor that not everyone sees in colors and that, even among those who do, what colors indicate can vary from one person's perceptions to the next. My own energy perception is much more tactile; I feel heat, cold, and various vibratory frequencies; when working with healing energy, I feel these in various parts of my body according to what I need in terms of information and guidance in focusing healing energy. My physical eyes have a condition called "anomalous trichromacy" which limits my perception of color. For a long time after my energy perceptions opened I really despaired that I couldn't 'see' energy in colors beyond a spectrum of white and shades of gray and purple. Finally came to understand that for me it's not about the mode of perception so much as the ability to perceive. Resigned myself to not seeing energy colors. Then about a year ago this was opened to me as well. The colors I perceive are still not real clear or sharp, for the most part, but I'm enjoying it. As for orbs - I agree, Taha, the originations of such things can vary; when I see orbs (not really often) they are the 'energy signatures' of non-physical entities. This is very clearly my experience; however, I would never presume to define an orb's meaning or makeup based on someone else's description. Nice to be able to offer one's own experience as a point of sharing, though! Sharing can be so valuable. plur RE: Indigo blue orb - has anyone seen anything like this? (updated link) - pluralone - 06-18-2009 Well said, Taha. As a teacher myself, my goal is to support my students' abilities to identify in what way they perceive and then to develop their perceptive abilities, find for themselves what the feel of vibration or the appearance of color or what-have-you means in terms of their own perceptions. It's much better for one to learn how to develop one's own abilities than to try to simply emulate those of another. You said, "Orbs are interesting, but I don't know why some people see them while others see beings of light. Perhaps the orbs of light are their perception of beings, or perhaps they're something quite different which I'm not capable of seeing. I have no idea, and am happy to have no idea too, as it tells me that I'm unlikely to grasp onto some definition another person wants me to uphold as consensus reality." That's sort of the point I was trying to make (but didn't quite get there): I don't think there is only one way to define orbs in general; people with very open perceptive abilities encounter orbs without having any consensus regarding what they are, and I think that's because there are many types of orbs just as there are many other types of living and energetic beings. They might have a similar appearance but be very different in their basic makeup, one orb to the next. I have seen orbs, I have seen 'beings of light', and I've seen other types of entities as well. To mangle Shakespeare: There are more things in the infinite multiverse than are dreamt of from a human perspective. hee plur RE: Indigo blue orb - has anyone seen anything like this? (updated link) - pluralone - 06-18-2009 Oooh. Lots of vids under that heading, Taha. Looks like I have this evening's entertainment all lined up! lol Thanks! plur |
