If you can, could you for exemple get tiny rosemary plants or seeds and surround this way your vegetable garden ? Slugs and snails hate their smell.
The great thing about rosemary is that it grows fast and then you can pick some leaves and make a water spray of them and spray with it both around and on your vegetables…
Those little snails and slugs definitely hate the smell so much you don’t have to plant them so close . Lol
