On the subject of wanderers being inherently compassionate or not, I think it's important to look at the info provided by Ra on the two Venusian wanderers. 

 
Good point.  I would add to this that Q'uo now and then speaks about 6D wanderers coming here to balance love, wisdom & power.  This can involve wanderers being obsessed with power and/or wisdom, and thus having not much interest in love at this particular point in their developement.  Naturally, individuals develope along idiosyncratic pathways.
