That reminds me of John Bradshaw's quote, "Not knowing who you are is the greatest tragedy of all." Though he was coming from the point of view of inner child work. It's so true that people in general, from whatever angle, are inhibited to express themselves authentically in a creative sense. Although, as much as I dislike the sea of mediocrity and other undesirable elements that abound on the Internet, I absolutely recognize that this sea is exactly the opening up of creative expression for the average person.
