    Hey xlsander,

I was vegetarian for about a year and did not notest any difference in my weight ,however I did notests a huge change in counsciusness for the positive side. I am currently in the intent to go from vegan to raw vegan and reading a book called "timeless secrets of health and rejuvenation" by Andrea Moritz which I highly recommend you since from what I have read about Andrea he has the same perspective about oness as the LOO having similar if not exactly the same points of view about health ranging from the value of pain/desease and dualities to the effect of mind over emotion and so physical body.

To make a lot of information short the point is that I did a liver flush and in 2 days I was feeling years younger with out the exercise and eating normal and also lost a lot of ponds wich did not seem to vanish with exercise or healthy food! ...in other words I highly recommend you to do a research about liver flush! (links described in the bottom). From what i have learned many emotions materialize directly into the liver creating and obstrution that makes us don't burn fats, filter toxins and maintain the metabolic system normal adding to this Gmo's , stress and electromagnetic signals we end up with many chronic deceases

The Liver is in charge of about 500 functions and It is believed by many cultures to be the purifier of the bodies needed for this experience in 3d. Also a colon cleanse and some enemas could help a Ton! Since we have many waste of all kind in the colon and belly we can't absorb nutrients and we can't have the "normal" process in which we trow out the material not necessary for the body.

As for my experience with the liver cleanse, during the cleanse I felt anger and frustration being liberated and Images that caused me anger ,pain and frustration emerged, as I began to understand the value of the events and started to develop compassion and understanding towards the people and situations from which I had the problems that generated the stones and so many cronic deseases I have.

However as the many authors about this liver flush said in about 3-5 days period my liver became obstructed again with more stones that moved to be liberated from the back of my liver from where they accumulated over the years ,that is why it is important that for anybody doing the cleanse to do it at least 6 times to clean completely the liver... Anyways I agree with the information many of the brothers/sisters here have presented about veganism ,to avoiding GMOS chlorinated tap water ,to much electromagnetic influences etc. Also I recommend you to look which kind of body type you have according to the ayur-veda healing system and then try to discern what kind of food is in harmony with you, since a banana as healthy as described can be very healthy for someone and hard to digest or have side effects for some gibing an example of how each body needs specific food that tolerates better.

About vegetarians being fat, I have seen many, and vegans being fat no unless they are starting the diet..which can be a very tuff experience for the body because during the transition to become raw vegan a detoxification and breaking up and re-nourishing of each cell of the body can be uncomfortable for some because of the many toxins and waste that is being cleaned up manifests as diarrea ,headaches,or other expressions of years of intoxication , that is why I highly recommend you do do some research primarily about the liver flush and then about other forms of detox which I think are jump starts to any diet ,even any kind of fasting. So after the detox your body will absorb much more nutrients from plants and so your transition to vegerarianism will be much more better and many waste will be also cleared including in the emotional body.

Basically my experience with vegetaniarism and veganism have really helped me in my "path" ,however dont be disappointed(in the case you decide to start the vegetarian diet) if you feel tired or feel that this type of alimentation is not for you since sometimes the first weeks or months as in my case can be some what difficult because mental conditioning from family and society that we needed meat to survive or due to many other factors.

So other from the other responses to your inquiry I can only add my recomendation about searching information about the liver flush and other types of soft detox.
