My contribute would be of another aspect.
First of all, this matter is adressed in A Wanderer's Handbook by Carla, ie when she was overweight and how she managed it. The way she used to approach this matter is by working with desire, if I am not mistaken. This subject is also illuminated in LOO "Behind the veil", where you can read how people could control their bodies before the veil experiment. It will give you an idea of what I am talking about.

I have also very fantastic experiencies with that, in my case regarding physical pain. But the food matter is also hidden in the mind. I read one book once called "Messages from Down Under". At the time I read it I thought that this book was true, and when I discovered that it wasn't, it was allready interpreted in my mind. I don't need to eat if I don't feel it is the "right time" to eat. I don't care what everybody else say about metabolism and how we need breakfast, lunch and this and that, ie constant intake of foodstuff in order to maintain good physical condition. Nobody knows my body better than me. And nobody knows your body better than you. Today, just to take as an example, I woke up at 06:30 and the first time that I felt that my body needed intake of foodstuff was 16:04. I've just finished my first meal of the day, and I feel great, and I've felt great all day. And you know what I ate? Hamburgers! Yea, from McDonald's. The chemical, industrial meat and what's not in those. But you know what - I don't care what everybody say about it. What I want to illuminate by that, is that free your spirit and take contact with your unconscious mind behind the veil. It is just behind the veil, they are still part of you, they are still you. You just need to get to know them, if it is your desire, and how to work with them in order for them to help you to live your life in a more pleasant, and easier, way. If it loss of weight you want, then it is a loss of weight you get. Etc etc. Good luck!
