There's a bunch of neuronal activity that subtly affects our vision. And if you want to venture into that terrain I think it's a good idea to know one from the other, to avoid embarrassing situations. Been there done that.
And I think your .gif is a great visualization of the effect.
Like I said I don't want to discourage, it means you're able to pay attention to very subtle signals. I've heard psychics report this type of motion before they started seeing flashes of images. They basically said, wait until you see this, then wait a little more and images will appear. I don't have the source, it was an Internet article so I cannot promise accuracy from personal experience :-/ But according to them this vision would be an image that tells you you're on the threshold.
To be honest, I've seen the effect but not the imagesI guess I'm not wired in that way.
Thank you for the reply!
Well, if you ask me, everything esoteric and spiritual perfectly co relates with physical experiences, one way or another. I don't see anything discouraging here... Or maybe I didn't get your point?

I totaly agree that this has some materialistic explanation, but as you said yourself, it also appears to have a deeper esoteric side to it. And this perfectly makes sense to me.
So why choose only one side, when you can choose both, and get a far universal picture?
As for the images, yes, after staring at it, as I mentioned, I did get some images

But still, why do you think you are discouraging? You mean, becose it has a materialistic (neurons) explanation? I was counting on a material explenation, but as I said, you gave me both

Again, thank you so much!
And lol, this animation is really nothing special compared to all the animations out there... considering how unsophisticated this animation is, I spent way to much time getting it right, heheheeh
See ya!
