I dunno man, he smells slimey this dude.

I've watched a few videos (mostly 2011+) of his and he always struck me as really believing and buying into his own material. He gets so excited on stage talking about the stuff. He doesn't strike me as the sort who consciously knows he's engaging in something potentially counterproductive.
