Ra in Egypt

Their way of measuring time is so different from us that our linear one directional sense of time makes measuring their actions on our level in terms of length of time difficult.

They may have "been" in eqypt in time/space adjusting small things, then going back to the drawing board to see what happened, then adjusting again, over and over again like that one scientist in Stargate Sg-1 trying to get that time portal to work endlessly getting the team stuck in repeting time, excepting in the case of Ra, with intent.

After X amount of attempts, all their "parallel times" produced the same or much the same conclusion, they were unable to effect anything more than a few waking up here and there.

So they decided to pick a random timeline from all their potentials they worked with and jump to another time period and try to work there.

So imagine you have a console in front of you where you have our current Earth timeline, you go into the "ancient eqypt" mode and try something, you watch the whole thing unfold from eqypt to super-future and see the total outcome, decide its not something you are content with, and repeat it again until you produce a good situation, you save, then you look at that time lines modern day and while there are some differences, due to the innate charachteristics of man/gaia modern society seems oddly non changed. Even though you just spent "A very short time" back in time adjusting.

How long ago were you gone if your friend stands next to you as you start the work but vanishes from your reality because they no longer have a grounding as you are altering the past only to re-apper once you stop altering the past. Were you gone for "10 minutes" or were you gone for the time it took you to travel the time/space distances in your perceptual reality until the proper changes were made?

If its the first one then you maybe able to measure how long Ra was in Egypt. But if the second one is true, in that time is always relative to the observer of time, then you have no way what so ever to truly measure how long Ra was in Egypt for.

We can only say with reasonable accuracy that Ra says it was a "short while". Our sense of time allows no way to really know the length of their subjective visit, and the actual length of their visit. Far as I can tell ofcourse, and I could be wildly wrong.

To the best of my understanding, working with possibility/probability vortices outside of the way we look at time means that they have near while not actual infinite time to stay in Egypt if they want to. Not sure if my understanding and explanation makes sense. It does to me though.
