thanks for the link Eddie. I'm a big fan of that site: Conscious Media Network has had some great interviews over the years. And the husband and wife couple that run it are purely devoted to service; their story is one of great sacrifice.

to speak to the question in general:

    RE: Religion vs Spiritual Path

one is organised, the other is individual. Religion is not to be denigrated above all things; it does offer the comfort of a support network, and given the right community/congregration, one can actually make great progress in the ways of love.

don't forget, some of the 150 individuals that succeeded in the second Harvest chose to come back as Christian Saints.

Quote:22.15 Questioner: Are any of these entities names that we would know from our historical past?

Ra: I am Ra. The one known as sound vibration complex, Saint Augustine, is of such a nature. The one known as Saint Teresa of such a nature. The one known as Saint Francis of Assisi of such nature. These entities, being of monastic background, as you would call it, found incarnation in the same type of ambiance appropriate for further learning

Both paths are spiritual. An Islamist is just as much on a spiritual path as one who practices concepts of the Law of One.

Following the traditions of one culture without any regard for their doctrinal truths is not a spiritual undertaking. It is obedience to what you have been taught.

Obeying religious rules and teachings out of some belief that there may be a penalty for disobedience cannot be considered seeking the spiritual aspect of the human experience.

Yes, there are many practitioners who have reached higher degrees of spiritual awareness within the right hand path, and it is at these higher levels of inner realization that they begin to turn away from the right hand path and begin to seek the things of the left hand.

Nine minutes into this video and he's spot on! As far as I'm concerned. : )
