We report with a sad heart that there will be no Homecoming Gathering this year in Louisville. We had tried our best to personally rid the world of the challenging issue of the pandemic, but alas, the situation persists and the future remains uncertain.
Like you, we desire to be together now more than ever, but we are at a point in time where we must make a decision on whether to move forward with holding Homecoming. Though no one can predict the future, the possibility persists that it will be unsafe to host a public gathering of potentially 40 people moving through an enclosed space when there is the ever-present risk of transmitting a deadly or debilitating virus, particularly for the more vulnerable among us.
So, we will continue to make use of the gift that this unusual moment in our history offers us, and we will look greatly forward to the time when we can meet again. Let's hope sooner rather than later.
Also, you may be interested to know that, in conjunction with our friends in Asheville, we have rescheduled the Coming Home to a New Earth Gathering to October 8-11. While probability is not on our side for holding the event, we will hold the intention that just maybe circumstances may support a safe gathering by then. There are still some seats available: https://bring4th.org/news/index.php?newsid=178.
With love/light,
Team Louisville
