A Ball of light in my room last nite

I was in bed, ready to fall sleep.

I don´t know if this info is needed but I´ll tell you anyway so you know which was my state of mind at that time. I´ve been taking a Reiki course for the last couple of weeks. So far so good.

I sometimes hold a quartz in my hand when I´m about to sleep cause It gives me comfort to touch it. I had one hand (quartz) in my root chakra and the other hand in my forehead. I was visualizing the chakras, saying and repeating a little prayer. I was thinking of the word light as I breathe in and love as I breathe out. Eyes shut. I was relaxed but not in a profound state so to speak.

I opened my eyes, maybe after 15min. In the dark of my room in the middle, I saw a ball of light in front of me. It was like tennis size and white and yellow like a domestic bulb. It moved fast up, down, one side and another but in the same spot. It made no noise. It had fuzzy edges but the core was round and very white.

I thought alarmed: what is that? I closed my eyes and opened again to see the ball has shifted horizontally less than half a meter. I freaked out. I felt like I had been observed and I had a mixed feeling of anxiety with heat. I left the room and as I came out in my balcony I felt everything was intensified. I could hear far too loud the sound of the waves, the cars, the rubbish going into the containers…as I look outside down to the street, I realized everything was calmed. There were only one or two cars, almost no wind and the sound of the waves was a lot mellow. I felt back into place. I was not scared any longer. I was looking my room from outside. I started asking myself questions, first why I freaked out. I was quite relaxed before it happened, I was praying.

Then I thought of Carla, when Jim tells about a psychic attack she had once when she was chanting the Sanctus. Also the UFO thought came into mind, as I did feel scanned by this light. I was thinking why it didn´t disappeared the first time I closed my eyes, I was obviously scared but instead it moved what seemed more in front of me and I thought I had to leave the room cause that was the only way it would disappeared. And finally I thought about just been energy that I might have accidentally created with everything I was doing before it occurred.

I had a look at the phenomenon of ball lighting but there hasn´t been any storms. I hardly spent time in front of the computer now, so nothing to do with my eyes…

I´ve had other experiences with light (not a light ball like this one) that had never freak me out but quite the opposite. I have to say that none of them occurred in the dark and sometimes I´m scared of darkness and I have to leave one light on. This was not the case, I was fine before.

My dog was also anxious and shaking for a while after. He sleeps in another room and did not see it but when I tried to make him go into my room afterwards it didn´t want it. If you guys, have any thoughts about this experience, please do share

I had one of those balls of light in my bedroom late one night about 3 or 4 years ago. It did not alarm me, though. I watched it for a while and then it gradually faded away.

I've seen a number of reports claiming that Gray aliens appear in this form, but I really don't know what manifested in my bedroom. Whatever it was, it didn't hurt me.

One morning in bed I got a gentle wake-up tap on my shoulder, I turned around to see a white ball of light sort of dancing around a little bit on the sun portion of the painting. Then I got the suggestion to go outside on the balcony. When I got outside, the sun was rising and it was quite a rare thing to see, as I normal get up later and when I do get up early enough, I don't go outside and watch the sunrise. Sometimes, like Ra says, they just want to say hi. A remarkable thing.

I went to bed last nite still confused, had a dream. Too long to tell but to summarize, it was about being with my friends and having a good time and turning into a nightmare in which all of them ran after me in order hurt me. As I was writing it down this morning, I felt I had my answer about the “ball of light”. I came up with “so it´s not what it looks like”. I had a sudden urge to read the prayer I was repeating in my head that night. I thought it might have played an important role in this. I had found it in an old calendar and it´s called “The Great Invocation”.I read it carefully, looked for a name or a place where it came from and it said “World Goodwill” Switzerland. I checked it out in the internet. I had no clue that it was actually a well known powerful prayer/invocation written by Alice Bailey and someone else and there are tons of pages that talks about it.

We have a lot of trees around here so it's hard to see a sunrise. Though when I'm driving to work at the right time I can see it, but not really fully get into it.

that doesnt seem like a psychic attack. it seems some interaction with you through astral planes. the reason it shifted to left when you closed your eyes and opened again was probably not because it shifted, but your psychology shifted.

you probably put on a more negative mindset while closing your eyes and opening.

Its the whole "it's not what it looks like" think thats gets me tho because if you felt scaird and then got told it's not what it looks like then maybe it's not meant to make you feel sacird and the fact that you found it was a luciferian thing is why i've sent you that link so it might just have to do with your lead upto finding that because i had a dream that disterbed me a couple of night ago which led me to this site which led me to the HH thing which has led me to a new sence of "calm" which i really needed.

At one point I decided to begin a daily practice of using the invocation, but it didn't last long. Something just didn't seem right to me about it... like there was some hidden agenda behind it. In particular, I didn't like the idea of invoking hidden "Masters" and asking to take their will as my own. So I discarded it.

I have a vague memory of seeing balls of light in my backyard when I was younger, and thinking "Oh, it's the aliens." It is an extremely blurry memory, though...I may have simply dreamed it. It doesn't sound like anything negative, though I have heard about orbs of a technological variety that are supposed to be able to implant a paralyzing terror when one looks into them...but that isn't just nervousness. The people that experienced it reported being unable to move in sheer terror that came about for no reason. To me this sounds more like spirit activity, which is usually benign but can bring about quite the shock.

I dont´know, it could be. I´ve had other "paranormal experiences" before and never felt that anxiety and heat runnig up my veins. It wasn´t a paralyzed terror but the feeling of "this is dangerous" and get out...

I was beginning to awaken and saw this strange thing happening but I was completely immobile and could barely speak, so I groaned and the figure and ball had disappeared like it was some teleportation from Star Trek. I would like to say that while my experiences tend to be of just seeing my friends, a number of people I know have reported seeing balls of light, occasionally a few of them in different colours. Being visited and greeted by friends who are normally not visible is rather lovely, I think.

No, not a select few at all! Every single person on the planet has their own friends walking unknown beside them night and day. I felt somewhat admonished by being shown this years ago when I was thinking how good it is to be special!

I can understand that, but if I may say so, your understanding of your experience was for you. A seemingly identical experience for someone else could be something very different indeed. Telling them what it is may not be helpful to their own growth (though doing so is a common occurrence in this world). No lecture intended, but I have learned that apparently similar things are often far from it.
