i just talked to my friend, who was living in japan for 15 years now. she's evacuating her flat, selling her belongings, and is moving out. (she is from usa).

she says it is 'not right' there, and people shouldnt be there. its bad, she says. she says radiation will be all over the world if they dont stop it.

i was noticing various people, experts talking about fukushima and talking about the gravity of the matter, but i was treating it with a conspiracy factor.

now that she has told me this first hand, it caught my attention.

This is pretty serious. Anyone have any suggestions on what we can do, spiritually or realistically?

I don't think that they would stop something like this from happening. It was of our own free will that we delved into nuclear power. There were warnings about it from the pioneers of nuclear energy, which were ignored. They would let us destroy our planet; they let Maldek, didn't they?

Ra has stated they weren't allowed to interfere in any previous nuclear blasts. They've also stated that there are currently 2D, 3D-ready body complexes available on Earth built to withstand nuclear fallout from a disaster exactly like this, which only means they wouldn't stop something like this. Q'uo has stated that while we may be safe from any sort of "natural" cataclysms as a result of energetic manifestation, we aren't free from any human-created cataclysms and stated very specifically they wouldn't interfere.

On top of all that, it's a matter of free will. They wouldn't interfere simply based on the fact that if we choose to destroy this planet, stopping us would be abridging free will, and that is not something the Confederation does. They will not save us from ourselves...

Touching on what Zenmaster says, viewing them as some sort of savior is precisely the attitude that will hinder interaction with aliens beyond the current system. They will not interact with us as a society until they are sure that they will not be viewed as any sort of gods, saviors, superior beings, etc.

I used to watch a lot about fukushima from this site called www.fairewinds.com - its a nuclear engineering site, the guy (arnie gundersen, who was apparently one of the main engineers on the plant) made a series of videos when this happened alerting the world that the media was not telling the truth. i havent watched in AGES but the last time i did watch - some time in april i think - he said it was already 3 x worse than chernobyl, that the nuclear reactors are burning at 5,000 degrees C (which is like as hot as the sun or something) and that there is NO WAY they can control what is happening and we are pretty much doomed. thousands upon thousands of tonnes of radioactive water have been spilling into the pacific for months, poisoning all marine life, its seeping into the soil, its spewing into the atmosphere, and apparently if the public knew for sure just how much trouble we are in there would be a mass panic and mass evacuation of Japan. Apparently the Emperor moved his family out of Tokyo, and the governor of the Fukushima prefecture moved his family somewhere else whilst going on tv telling the public that "radiation isn't that harmful and they should move back into the area and support the economy". In the end i just stopped looking because I figure if we die we die, we can't do anything about it. It makes me very sick though, and I'm frankly terrified to eat seafood or anything that comes out of Japan anymore.

There are just so many protests against the government around the globe and they are only going to increase as it is inevitable that the world is going to see the biggest economic crisis ever... With economists from all over the world saying the same thing that we are going to see a massive financial collpase with America 14 trillion dollars in debt and Europe economy begining to fail and is worse than ever but Im not worried sure it may be hard but its just going to be another catatlyst for people and a very large one at that..

I didn't build any nuclear power plants

I guess I'm lucky I'm on the other side of the USA though...maybe. A couple weeks ago, some University nuclear physics professors brought some radiation detectors to the Farmer's Market and were testing foods for radiation (because of Fukusjima). I figured the trace amounts they found were radiation inherent in the food...maybe not?

Its a serious situtation no doubt. But for all the thousands of tons of radioactive water being dispensed. The world has that mighty buffer zone called the Pacific ocean and the process of "dilution".

Its not an end of the world scenario anymore than Chernobyl was. Though for the the local areas and people, it is and is going to be devastating.

I believe the atmospheric pollution is being overly hyped compared to the years of above aground nuclear testing that was done prior to the move to underground testing. Doesn't mean it not a concern. But to say the entire world is going suffer a disaster a reach.

Japan's NHK has an English language channel that most of the day presents a half hour of news on the hour. In the SF Bay Area it's on channel 26-2. A couple of the public TV stations also carry their news once in a while, called Newsline. Each newscast begins with coverage about Fukushima.

RT is fun to watch, but it almost always finds fault with whatever it covers. I always assumed it is a leftover attitude from the old days when anything non-Soviet is corrupt and foolish.

it is dubbed about 4x the chernobyl. radiation already found in whales. that 'buffer' pacific ocean, is actually a huge chunk of the world ecosystem. whatever affects it, will affect all of the world eventually.

um, maldek was such a disaster you'd think they'd want to avoid that. DW says they will interfere if there are nuclear weapons used to destroy the planet. i believe him.

the new bodies doesn't mean anything, it's a precaution. the level of mayhem the nuclear blast causes it's good to be prepared.
