I take the stance that Angelics are already doing the most they can to help us, but they don't want to infringe on our free will in any case (i.e. if you create a hell in your mind they are waiting for you to change that for yourself, they won't change it for you.)
The specific asking to prevent or negate any harmful effects also presupposes there is malevolent intent in the world, which is not true, it's a projection of the mind onto experience. So you could say the most effective form of prayer is first figure out who you are (enlightenment) and then realize there's nothing to pray for or against, because reality is perfect in and of itself. The reason I had prayed is because I was getting very weird stuff around this vaccine (both from b4 and just from the whole world situation) and since the only negative effect experienced is a little soreness in the arm.
