It seems that this aspect of creation is one many struggle grasping when reading the Law of One. They feel there must be a choice intermediary to love and to hate. There isn't, but there is intensity. This doesn't need a lengthy explanation. It's obvious to all that if you don't like, you dislike, if you don't love, you hate. If you are not one, you are other. That is so, but you can like/love to varying degrees, and dislike/hate to varying degrees. For instance, I love you. I know for I feel I want to nourish you. But there are limits. I'm not wiling to do all to nourish you. It means my love exists, but it's not as intense (also clear) as it could be. Similarly, I may hate you and I can know I do by sensing the will to destroy, to make you be gone. But once again, there are limits. I'm not wiling to do all to destroy you, just a couple things. It means my hatred is not as intense as it could be. Of course, this all addresses creation as it is in the illusion. If you inspect further, you'll see all is love, hatred being not something else, but simply love distorted, distorted like an image, thus keeping whatever intensity it's got within it. There is more that could be said, but that's it for now.
