Does anyone study Kabbalah - Judeo/Christian Mysticism

I have been studying Kabbalah for quite some time in an effort to better understand Jesus (Yeshua Ben Joseph) and his teachings. I have been interested in the Gnostic Gospels and the Dead Sea Scroll materials for quite some time, read ancient historical accounts (e.g., Eusebius, Josephus, Pliny the Elder, etc.), love mysticism. In those studies, I have come across The Sephir Yetzirah, Talmud, and most recently I have been studying The Bahir which is an excellent and very thought-provoking text. I have always aligned the One Infinite Creator as the One God of monotheism-the Creator God/Force and the Bahir has a lot of very interesting alignments and details that I find fascinating.

I don't know of many people who have the same interests so I thought I might reach out and see if anyone would like to open up a dialogue or discussion on the topic. I am also quite fascinated in discovering the beliefs and practices of the Essenes-trying to discover facts as opposed to hearsay. If interested reach out to me.

I am interested in this topic. But I unfortunately know her only superficially. There is not enough time or effort for a deep study. I read the Sepher Yetzirah, translated into Russian language. And quotes from this text in the "Mystical Kabbalah" by D. fortune. I also had a very superficial interest in texts from the Nag Hammadi Library. And at the same time, I was also superficially interested in the texts of early Alexandrian Christian authors. I don't know if I can make conversation, but I can try... All this will be complicated by my poor knowledge of English.

Most people who are interested in Kabbalah have only read modern work about the subject which lack the same feel as the original material. I have studied the Sephir Yetzirah, Behir, parts of the Zohar, and the Sephir Raziel Hamelach. There are also some good modern books if you can sift thru the stuff produced for mass consumption. I read Aryeh Kaplan's translation of the Sephir Yetzirah and Behir, and Mathers translastion of two of the parts of the Zohar. When I was in college in the early 2000s the library had the entire Zohar which is something like 16 volumes but unfortunately there was no comprehensive translation into english. The Zohar is considered by most practitioners of Jewish Kabbalah to be the most important text beside the Torah. The Torah and 12 Meggidos is useful IMO while the Talmud is interesting and important if you are orthodox.

Pretty much what Dtris said, I would only add that Lurianic Kabbalah is popular to study for those who are in to esoterics.
