I've seen selenite and people say it's a balancing Stone but I've never really used it for meditation. The information that Ra says is of priority is balancing your vibration
That info about Afghanite being double-terminated is pretty interesting. I've heard about that stone before but wasn't aware of it in double-terminated form. Ra says a number of things like to not use irregularly shaped stones like picture one shaped like a shoulder blade. If you search the term "chain" a lot of the information about how to use a diamond to heal comes up. it is described as taking a jewel and putting it on a chain around your right wrist and adjusting its positioning in sunlight to modify a person's lightbody and also how it should be placed over the heart if worn in a necklace. from reading the pyramid section what I've gathered is that using corundum and small framed pyramids made out of materials like wood and putting yourself in the sunlight with them is the way to put their power to use. the idea is that the light becomes purified or concentrated through reflecting through a material such as corundum and pyramids have the power to bend light through the prism they form. There is more that is written such as how their powers are numerous as their structure itself is energetic which is why they don't need to have solid sides to function fully. It says that to work on a person's yellow Ray chakra they don't need to be any larger than a pyramid that can be placed under a person's pillow but for the upper chakras such as indigo they need to be larger. I'm picturing multiple varieties of corundum placed around a small wooden pyramid and with a ruby on a chain around my right wrist during the middle of the day as a setup which would harness these benefits. considering that sell much special attention is paid to the yellow Ray and that Sapphire (Saturn) is a form of corundum like the Ruby mentioned in the sessions, then I place my bets on that for a contender for one of the most effective materials to use if you're interested in this idea.
I remember meeting a person one time who tried to charge money for classes on using selenite to balance vibrations with wands. I thought the entire concept was pretty humorous. Id never pay somebody for lessons.
edit: there are also rare sapphires with two colors in them such as blue and green divided in the same stone. Colored diamonds too. Almost every state has an official Stone mineral and gemstone and some countries have a national Stone such as Argentina has rhodochrosite because the Inca valued it. I think when it comes to energy and affordability that elestial smoky quartz also called alligator quartz or skeletal quartz is pretty nice. They range in size pretty dramatically
