Hello fellow travelers,
I don't recall exactly how I found the Ra Material the first time. It was in the 1980s and I still have the original books I received at that time. I think I responded to a magazine ad. Not only did I receive every book at no charge, I also still have tapes of Don's UFO explorations... two cassette tapes, and "The Journey" a musical tape by Carla's brother. Saved all these years.
I recall that as I read each book I suspended a part of my mind so that I could intake the concepts, rather than reading with the thinking mind. I suppose you could say "grokking" it, a sci fi term. "Grok may be the only English word that derives from Martian. ... "Grok" was introduced in Robert A. Heinlein's 1961 science fiction novel Stranger in a Strange Land." https://www.google.com/search?q=grok&rlz...e&ie=UTF-8 .
Anyway, the Ra Material helped me get through the rest of the '80s. I was in a destructive relationship, married to a revisionist historian, or otherwise known as a pathological liar with a personality disorder. Must have been my heaviest working out of karma.
At one point I wrote to Carla and she responded, a sweet note and not sure where it is now.
The high point is that in 1992, with my middle daughter, we traveled through Kentucky, and by prearrangement were able to stop and visit Carla. She is so kind! It was a Saturday, and the next day being Sunday she was going to hold a small service at her home for a few people and do a channeling. Would we like to come? Yes! and then she offered for us to spend the night. We were on the road from Maine to California, so gratefully accepted. Memorable.
The books have a prominent, permanent, honored place in my library. I refer to them at times. It's interesting to me how the material definitely has a following, full of Truth, Love and Light.
