Anyone know how to astral project
02-23-2017, 12:15 PM
Read Astral Projection by Sylvan J Muldoon.
wake up 4 or 5 hours after you sleep at night. wait about 5 minutes. go back to sleep this time try to keep your mind awake while your body sleeps. I suggest lying on your back.
try counting your breaths to keep the mind conscious. then sleep paralysis should happen quickly. you won't be able to move your body but you will feel your energy body which you should spin round and around yourself until it detaches from your physical body.

Is it free to read?

I should also mention this; last night I began to heal my back using my indigo ray then I felt I'm getting out of my body.. I stopped it though. Don't really know why that happened

I've begun to turn my energy body but it doesn't work, either nothing happens or my physical body eventually begins to move. Any suggestions?

There are several ways to do this. Cainite mentioned getting up early, and going back to sleep lying on your back. This increases the chance of sleep paralysis occurring dramatically, but doesn't guarantee it. When you succeed, you will usually find yourself in sleep paralysis, though its not always a given. That only happens if you are relatively close to the physical world. You'll likely experience the infamous vibrations if you do this consciously, or you might experience the shift in other ways like rushing wind, or maybe you'll hear something akin to a raging waterfall or jet engine (your subconscious mind will interpret the phase shift in whatever way is most comprehensible to it). One method for keeping your mind out of the dream trap is to create a ritual where you mentally observe objects around your home, and vividly visualize walking around to each object and examining it, and then proceed to the next object, examine it, and then proceed to the next object, and just keep repeating this until your body falls asleep. If you have a lot of will power you could just visualize an object, and then hold your consciousness on that until your body goes to sleep. It takes a LOT of focus, though, and you'll likely fall asleep many times before you succeed. Getting out of the body while in sleep paralysis can be a headache too, because your consciousness is close enough to the physical to perceive the inability to move your body, and this actually amplifies the resistance to moving beyond it. You have to move your awareness toward being free, which is hard to explain. This can also occur in nearly a simultaneous fashion if you are trying to move through a wall and discover almost a force-field like resistance. It is a psychological barrier in that you expect the resistance so much you create it. You have to find a way of seeing whatever the barrier is, whether the body or a wall as being ephemeral in nature. I have no words to describe it. It is a nuance of perception that has to be learned. The other (lazier) technique is to program yourself via affirmations to become conscious while you're dreaming, and then gently turn your attention to wherever you want to go -- physical or otherwise. This still requires a substantial amount of practice before you don't immediately wake up when you become conscious. You can also learn to do a sort of quasi projection where you are half in and half out of the body. I would lean towards calling it remote viewing. You simply shift your attention out of your body and pretend its 'really happening'. Get really absorbed in it, like you are reading a really good book. You'll reach a point where you start getting real information. It will get more and more accurate the more you practice, but there will inevitably be distortions as time/space impressions are easily distortable and fluid and require an absolute stillness/objectivity of mind.

I want to point out that we have different barriers in relation to this, certain people will have this ability unlocked without any effort on their part and even struggle to get actual unconscious sleep time (although they might not seek to reach the highest planes they can from there), whereas there are others (like me) who take mere seconds each day to fall into an abyss and rarely even recall any portion of any night. So while generalization are useful in a way, there is a highly personal work and each person has a unique veil to their mind.
Also sometimes you do succeed but it is not for your conscious mind to remember it. I've had so many times of being hyper lucid but to move behind a wall where my hyper lucid awareness cuts off from my conscious mind, often I remember nearing such states many times over and try to figure out how to not lose sight of where I'm going and it just repeats with an extremely clean cut. About those, I've had certain experiences that allowed me to see that it is often a choice made from behind the veil, I saw myself coming back from what might seem like an eternity to decide I wanted to retain no awareness of it here and see it all fall away like water rushing through my fingers until my mind turns back and remember nothing but the hole it left and the moment it all faded. I've explored a tiny bit with salvia also and it kind of taught me that all I had to do is to practice daily to become able to have the freedom it grants me. Got to admit I did not really bother with that since I've acknowledged my own choice of those remaining separate for the meantime through the use of a veil I programmed to behave as it behaves. Once you get a sense of the astral planes or even higher densities, you can just seek to connect with it within and thin out the barrier that was placed upon your mind, but there are places your spirit can go that your mind cannot follow and as such it can only attain a sense of the moment out and the moment back in. Usually in existence, it's all about seeking and initiatory experiences to provide direction for seeking.

Anyone on this forum actually doing succesfully doing conscious astral projection?
I have tried for some time on and off but with no real success. It wasnt until a year ago that i found out whats blocking me... That blockage might be quite common among wanderers. So i would ne interested, if anyone actually does it!

I've done it when I was younger but I haven't really tried it in awhile. I have other magical elements I have been developing. However I do feel that in the next few years it will become more of a regular practice for me.

I can usually only do it from within a dream. Once I was lying on the ground, and it felt like some heavy entity was sitting on me. So I had to get up.
When I go out of body I don't usually get much past my own body. Maybe a few feet. Then I lose awareness. I have done it several times. last time I did it was about two years ago. I passed through walls and flew around a bit. that was all But I've had more lucid dreams. in them I usually fly and hover and have fun doing so. and one time I was placed in a female demon's domain and magically fought her using thought and energy (my best friend was standing behind me for support) she looked very scary but we won the battle. she fell easily. but my best lucid dream experience was this one; I found myself at the gate of a very very old village... there were no people. I waited a while until Hafez Shirazi (greatest mystical poet in man's history) approached me he was I think 60 years old (when he reached enlightenment) and took me to an empty tavern and gave me wine. Recently I'm making a song for him to return the favor..

Sleep paralysis usually happens on its own for example when you have to go to work and are still tired and have only ten minutes to rest a bit so u try to sleep but keep your mind awake to not sleep more than ten minutes. then it happens. when the body is tired it works better. and also u shouldn't move your body at all. I think I should mention this; once I drank 360 mg dextramethrophan and when I was walking in an empty dark street, I got out of my body and hovered ten meters above it and watched everything from above. so drugs can also help. although I dont recommend them at all for obvious reasons.

Feel free to read to see if that fits you. I believe there're different ways for different people. if you found one that you like, then it's the right way to you. and I agree some other posts, many people need to meditate very long hours e.g. 5 hours to start their soul journey.
