That seems like a strange title, but I'll try to explain. I stumbled upon the Ra material some time ago and studied it over the past 5 years off and on, but I never really cared to delve into these forums here. I had some kind of thought about it where I considered that the Law of One material was so well articulated in a way that I could resonate with and understand intuitively based off of what I had studied throughout life leading up to finding the Ra material that I felt like the material itself was nearly pristine. So I guess I was like "well, why would I want to visit a site where a bunch of people that are probably nowhere near the spiritual evolution of ancient enlightened adepts discuss these topics; there's bound to just be a bunch of people distorting everything and arguing." In fact it was more like I shrugged the forum off without giving it a second thought.
Obviously that was pretty silly to think. I really just didn't give enough thought to what an amazing opportunity this forum presents everyone. So it kind of feels like I've been missing out for years. At the same time it feels like a turning point in my own seeking where I can go deeper and that everything happens at the right time and all that, but the point remains.
So, are there particular moments on the forums that have been particularly illuminating or life changing? Moments that have either been big for the community here or have been cause for a personal peak during time spent here? I can only imagine what kind of peak moments of insight and communication have occurred here. I can glean into the nature of great posts and threads so far, but there are seemingly endless posts and pages to the degree that I feel somewhat overwhelmed. I feel like it would be beneficial for the curiosity and understanding of the community of newcomers (and users that haven't been able to see everything) for some kind of thread where people share their best moments so far. I can imagine people might even have certain posts/threads bookmarked, or resources discovered through this site that have been saved because of how good they are.
So far there seem to have been some nearly inconceivably popular threads, like the dream one (maybe the dream one makes sense, but getting a million+ views for occasional threads here blows my mind). There have also been interesting individuals, like a particular Zaxon character in the past (whether he was honest or not is beside the point of the fact that he made an intriguing mark and started a stimulating dialogue) and I imagine other sorts of individuals that have come and gone that only remain in the memory of the wonderfully active veterans of this site. The closest thing to finding what I'm looking for would be seeing the most viewed threads, but that still leads to innumerable pages that can be somewhat hard to sift through, although doing that is still really interesting of course.
