Sitting still never was my optimal way of connecting with the CreatorRita, how is it that you meditate? Is it a type of walking meditation? I'd love to hear. Actually, I meditate sitting still but the way in which I meditate is far different than I use to and I got this type pf meditation from this site! Anything that a person can share will help another in some way. Your type of meditation may help me or someone else who doesn't prefer sitting. Thanks Rita!
Any moment no matter what your doing meditation is possible.. just the difficulty is increased .. running, walking swimming, even on a roller coaster

That was a warming story! Thanks Rita. Very thoughtful.
That answer was by Quan, not by me. But I second what he said. And the story is really beautiful.
When I discovered that there are many ways of meditating (saw a list of 100 ways), it was a huge relief for me, because sitting still was never working for me really. So, I have tried many different ways and moving, singing, and Intentional Creativity have been the most beneficial for me. With time, my whole waking time has become a never ending meditation where its forms change as the time flows but the meditation itself never ceases
And the story about the horse reminded me of my mare, Lucy. She spent 9 years alone and I had been alone without a friend for some time. We both found a relationship of give and take just as Luke and his horse did. This also goes with something a friend and I were just discussing regarding the importance of self and other self for spiritual growth.
Rita, I have many ways in which I meditate also. I do mostly sitting meditation, however, when I am working, I do a form of walking meditation.
