Has anyone played Stalker, and found the storyline and specifically the wish oriented ending to be uncanny and a bit freaky.

Endings are on youtube. IT is basically a story about 7 scientists who form a joined mind that they then use to alter the noosphere (Which is the 3rd layer of the earth after mineral and animal) that is unable to be affected by a single being but indeed needs a communal or shared mind.
Their plans go awry because their motivation was to remove things from the field like anger and greed. If its not too much to ask for, could people read over the general storyline and then look at the youtube videos of the 8-10 endings and post what you think.
The similarity to LOO is uncanny.
