I'm a virgo and I'm older in chronological years as we measure them in this incarnation/density.
Love and light, Saggi!

I'm old enough to be your mom, but we do have some members your age or even younger. In light of the 75,000 years many of us have been hanging around this planet, I'd say we're all much closer in age than it might seem! ![]() Welcome to the community!

Oh! So you are 35 too Monica?

I'm right with you, OP.
20 as well, an Aquarius, though I feel as though I've lived long enough (in this place, anyways).

Yep, same as you Sagittarius. I'm wondering if younger and younger folks are/will be waking up as the world turns or if awakenings are occurring as they have been. Two of my friends, age 17, are on their way to awakening. One of them inadvertently helped open my eyes and as a result the other person, my brother, was affected my my awakening process.

It's actually a bit difficult for me to imagine someone awakening well into the mid-way point of their life (no offense to the 30+ souls here
![]() People are surprised I have the disposition, demeanor and insights I do at this age. I'm just perfectly content living in harmony with the Universe. In the end though, age itself is an illusion. It should not be a barring factor at all in how people relate and communicate with one another. To an extent though, I mean, I highly doubt a 45 year old and a 2nd grader would ever sit down in a fancy high-end restaurant and discuss metaphysics, like ever, but you know what I mean. ![]()

Never say never. I was speaking with my six week old recently about the topic. I tell her she must know, she's closer to time/space than anyone I know.
30 is a life marker. You'll see. Besides, there is always something new to experience. Always.

I'm about to leave the 18-24 bracket.
![]() Aries, but I'm Pisces under the new zodiac, which I think is more accurate for me.

I don't think you can define a life in that way, GW. Every path is different. In between the very things that you name are the real things that fill a persons life. Its not all bills, finances, going to work etc... that stuff is just the window dressing of life. I'm older, yes...but even through all the hardships I've experienced, you still have to question would you be the person you are now without the catalyst of those times (as painful as they were). Of course life isn't defined by such things (though for some, they allow those things to dictate their existence). Life, in all its infinite myriad of ways, is what you make of it. Irregardless of what happens, life never ceases to be. I don't at all regret everything that has happened that has brought me to this point. Perhaps I should've chosen my words better. I meant to imply that being made aware of the Law of One at the time I did has allowed me to come to terms with everything, and face all that comes my way with a much calmer, wider-viewed disposition. I would've never came to the conclusion on my own that the best way to deal with situations is by approaching them with loving and peaceful intents. When I approach situations like that everything falls into place as though they "were meant to". If I hadn't come across the LOO I'm sure things wouldn't have progressed as they did now. So I can't see myself living out a good portion of my life and not trying to polarize towards love and light. That's all. ![]() A question for the 30+ souls here, when did you guys come across the LOO? I'm 19, will be 20 on December 5th. According to the old zodiac I am Sagittarius, and in the new one I'm ophiucus(?) I always liked to go against the stream from as far as I can remember. I think I have (in some sense) shamanic qualities that makes awakening a tad easier. The process got into the fast lane when I learned the truth about marijuana, which led to Terence Mckenna, then it all just went at the speed of light.
The times I'm smoking I feel like I get access to higher dimensions of thought, although in reality I might just be closer to my subconscious. That got longer than it had to.. :p

The age one awakens may be down to many factors, the Higher Self especially. I am of the notion we each awaken at the perfect time, before which experience is gained within certain aspects of life (lessons). Many think of awakening as a sudden event - i.e. reading the Ra Material - when in fact it's a gradual process over years.
Awakening, to me, is that spark... Subtle: "Something feels missing... there's more to this, but I can't quite put my finger on it" Experience: "WHY CAN'T I MOVE THAT PEN WITH MY MIND! IT SHOULD WORK!" Contemplative: "What is this all about? Why?" After the spark, the path begins to effortlessly unfold, we head off on a search led by instincts and the feeling of something exciting being just around the corner. We then read, watch and talk, for hours, days and years. Our searching outside then turns to seeking inside. Then, all of a sudden, we get it. It's so simple. It's so beautiful. It's so magical. Then the fun really starts! And here we all are :¬)

Aries grand parent in terms of age grouping, (here). I had a big jump start in waking-up or could one say waking-isotropically perhaps. Isotropy is the best way, methinks. I always admired older persons who were not immediately biased by the age of another person (and visa versa). I sort of preferred the ageless-timeless categorization, for LOO discussions. After all how many life times should we count? Teens might avoid biases of the current cultures, if given such freedom. My mom was a champion of free will for me, (not that it makes life easy). Yet she also provided the model of an honest, creative, responsible provider, (in a time this was very rare).

My "awakening" day:
I was 17 or 18. I was bored, alone at home. I went to my mother's bookshelf and grabbed a random book. (she had lots of new age stuff). The book I grabbed was titled The Science of Mind (1927?). I don't recall much of the book, only the enlightening point I took from it. That is, I realized, 'I am in complete control of my mind'. From then on, I have been seeking in my own way. The immediate response was to read the rest of my mother's bookshelf. Then the bible, to interpret MYSELF. Interesting. Because of this thread, I'm going to revisit that book. Oh look! It's in iBooks on my phone. Let me try a sample.... hmmmm... very similar to LOO terminology. But then again, all the spiritual understandings follow the same pattern... I will continue reading... Love and Blessings Quote: "When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things. (1 Corinthians 13:11 NASB)"
