It appears that the earth will change its access of rotation by 20 degrees. If that's the case, then speed the of axis shift vs existing angular momentum would determine the degree of destruction.
Now why would it do that? The only reason I can think of is that the green-ray energy much-more strongly effects 1st density material (than orange or yellow).
