Why are We Here on the Planet?
We are all here to “make a Choice”. That choice is manifest in how we live our life (externally and internally). The One Creator gave us Free Will to allow this choice to be made. We will see as this section unfolds how respecting other’s free will also impacts this Choice.
The Choice is basically of two parts: Service-to-Others (StO) or Service-to-Self (StS). This represents a polarity – two extreme opposites. There is a vast middle ground that many people occupy where no Choice has been made. The lack of Choice is mainly driven by a lack of awareness or a lack of commitment to “seeking” a path with purpose.
Before thoughts go too far astray on the word “Service” – let’s make something clear. We are not here to be a martyr, ignoring you and your family’s needs. We all need to take care of our responsibilities in the physical, mental and spiritual sense so that we can reasonably help and serve others that are seeking. More on service later.
StS becomes apparent when an entity perceives otherselves as other-selves and consciously determines to manipulate other-selves for the benefit of the self. Couple of key words to understand here. Apparent: becoming fully aware of the choice being made. Otherselves: all entities are of the One Creator and as such we are in unison, not distinct separate individuals. Other-Selves: to view other entities as not one with you in the Creator, they are separate and distinct. Benefit of self: it is all about me; I love myself to the exclusion of all others.
All serve the one Creator. There is nothing else to serve, for the Creator is all that there is. It is impossible not to serve the Creator. There are simply various distortions of this service. To reiterate, in the One Infinite Creator there is unity. We all are one from the Source. Free Will has been granted so we can choose or not, but all is service to the Creator, so the Creator can better know Itself.
