Why if the choice is Love does Ra say the choice is service?

Angel, if you are still following your hijacked thread, here's another take on why there's a repeated focus upon service instead of love in general.  What I extrapolate from this excerpt is that by focusing on service one attains a much higher tuning of self than one might otherwise get because the scope one becomes dialed in to is fully and freely encompassing instead of narrowly focused.  It's maybe a bit of free association to connect these, but you can see if it works for you.

Thus, instead of asking, “How can I get rid of my fear? I must become a more loving person, which means getting rid of my fear, getting rid of my anger” … Instead of that dialogue with fear, when your focus becomes, “How can I express this energy that I have in service to all beings and for the greatest good of all beings?”—that focus allows the experience of fear or anger or jealousy if that is what is present. There is no need to get rid of anything then. If your learning to express your energy more purely involves, at this moment in time, the experience of discomforting physical or emotional stimuli, so be it. You do not have to like that stimulus. I feel some confusion in all of you. I am going to give one very concrete example.

A being perhaps wants to learn to give its energy with generosity to others, and yet is aware that often when it is asked to give in a material or energy form, there is a contraction, a sense, “What if I need this time or energy or resource?” It may then state an affirmation, “I can be generous,” and try to remind itself, even convince itself to be generous. It may even skillfully note the arising of fear and still say, “I will be generous.” But at some level there is grasping to the generous and aversion to the fear. Instead of making the affirmation, “I will be generous,” which strengthens this grasping and aversion, if the being’s focus becomes, “I will work as lovingly as I can with whatever emotions are present in my experience,” then the intention is very different: not to “fix” but to relate to with kindness.

My question is simply this.... because Ra is so deliberate in the preciseness of his words, because he doesn't want any of the concepts spoken to be misunderstood in any way...when HE says those in this dimension MUST make a choice, that choice being one of SERVICE to self or others, instead of stating the real choice, which is to Accept Love or not. That is the choice one must make after all. Or is this not as obvious to you as is to myself?? Why state the choice in a service context at all. When the choice to love and love indicates precisely how service pans out. Those without that green Chakra activated as Ra has indicated,  you know the one that is the seat of love, they only would serve themselves...naturally.

Hi Angel. The reason I think Ra uses the word service is because it speaks to the transparency of personality that occurs when one progresses on the positive path. I think the transparency of self happens because love can make one feel content in themselves and in life in general (apart from the regular struggles we experience when obtaining the necessities of life.) Therefore the self has energy left over that can be directed at empathizing with and helping others. This is what being radiant is, I believe. I perceived radiance in the OP when you expressed concern/regret to those on the STS path. Even that I see as a service in the literal sense.

And I also see that when another person accepts my loving service that it is also a service to myself because I get to see love reflected back at me.

Yet I understand the troubling connotations with the word service. I see it being more of a question of "who does this act intend to benefit?" If the act is consciously intended to benefit the self at the expense of others then that wouldn't be positive or loving.

But I think you're right that at the core of the Choice is whether one seeks more or less love. Yet usually we can't see how strong our love is until we are faced with what we choose to do with that love in the moment.

Louisabell, I like you. I have noticed you in many threads and I am impressed and have resonated with you in most of them indeed.

This is not to say that I do not like all of you others. I love you all and utterly appreciate you taking the time to respond. Just for the record i needed to state this truth and i also will note many of you have touched on other areas that we can discuss in another thread.

Now, my entire life has been in the service of others and I am bi polar which clearly makes me an expert in emotions. I did not know I was bipolar until 50. So, I had worked on much of the shall I say more aggressive parts of me long before being diagnosed. I am deeply aware, very much loving and it is difficult for me to operate in service while under a veil, and away from the energies from which I came. However, everyday I try as hard as I can. I have tested high in empathy, and what I understand that I need more than anything else is to surround myself with others like myself. This however is proving to be much more difficult than I hoped and so I battle on without the touch of my human counterpart for I must if I am to aid. Missing the wonder of physical love and tendrrness, intimacy and indeed of the knowledge that someone truly sees me and accepts me and thinks I am beautifully made as opposed to crazy or eccentric or out there! The greatest thing about being in the body is how it feels physically. I desire deep connections now and though I could choose to go get me some sex, this is fine, but not what my soul longs for.

I will say though when love, though actually always present, is lowly felt in our lives and for extenuating time, some 50 plus years for me, with each hoped for extention of self toward others, and with each one having various degrees of success or failures, I am becoming less able to be resilient. If my life was one of normalcy this life alone would prove difficult as with any life, but a life of an empath learning the lessons offered through the negative path! , ughhhhhhh

Is it not the negative path who largely seeks to control and subjugate others in service to himself????? Yes.

Is Ra not very precise in his choice of words????? YES , especially so. I love this about him.

Do I understand, as all of you, that service is love and regardless of path, its expression?? Very much so... Yes.

Might the real choice being made, be that of acceptance vs. Control? Perhaps but this too is not question I have asked you to answer.

For I believe it is clear to all of us that service is an act which springs only from love or a sense of honor and duty, which too is only felt if love is present, and serves both others and the self in doing it.

I do not believe this has been worded without thought by those of Ra. Not with it being so paramount a choice to be made and talked about in such detail.

I can see why the choice to use the word Service might be made in the distinctions and differences between the functions or essence of each path. It helps describe the focus in each path choice.

HOWEVER, it is clear in this material also that for the negative path, a choice was made, and that choice according to Ra was to return to source by not having the green chakra center activated AT ALL. This is the seat of Gods creative energy we call Love. Which means that they do not love self or anyone else. Power is what they seek and need to obtain this energy from those who gain their energy to live from source. That path must take their energy from creation itself, according to Ra. It is in fact the denying of source energy which is Love that is the path of the negative pole and why they must in the 6th dimension switch path. You can only take so much energy out of creation before it destroys it. Therefore the realistic and most accurate way of presenting the choice to us, would be to use the word LOVE, specifically Creators love - acceptance or denial in the realm of experience anyway.

Though the concepts of service and love are congruent in those who love, I do not believe the emphasis on service is or could logically be assumed a mistake or even an after thought In the minds of Ra, or that the idea that the adept among us, would have grasped the concept congruent in the word service and therefore is indeed intentionally placed. The intent is clear when one considers the preciseness in every other concept conveyed.

This bothers me and it should bother anyone. If I was still on the negative path...which by the way is where we begin our journeys, this would be an excellent way to gain subjects to serve me in the future, pledging to serve, instead of to love. One word substitution means a whole lot in this context. Do you honestly think someone who might deceive us this way has the ability to love?? They fool and make us fools. This is not a choice we make with knowledge of its congruence. Not when we have not lived in the dimension providing the lessons of love which is the 4th. This choice is made at the
end of 3rd and has no basis to understand that congruecy yet!! This is according to the Ra material itself.

Now I ask you once again, please, as I'm really hoping that the intentional substitution made between love and service can be explained that can be viewed as a reason that is better and/or positive for the using it.

Is this truth?? My choice to Love was made eons ago and firmly seated. I have asked and even demanded to be told what you see in me that requires such matter of fact judgments and publicly made remarks against my character. If you had any basis to feel or make such statements that can be resembled as truthful or accurate, I truly have the right to know what you know or see, what I have done to deserve them so that I can see these flaws and better myself. I am truley asking so I can fix them. Its is obvious to me, I have not seen them and won't unless someone tells me openly and honestly. If you were having a shitty day and can now see you judged me instead of loving me, no worries...but say so and appologize. I'm fairly new to posting here and had I been what you thought I would not be here posting more. Yes! I am glad someone was able to resonate with you and get you the information you seek Angel. The L.Bell has a wonderful way with words and is thoughtful, insightful and always loving. Something I wish I could do...not that I am envious but that I appreciate a good writer who can include all those wonderful aspects of their own personality. Angel. You are as you should be in this moment and what needs to be revealed about you... to be balanced or corrected, will come to you. You will see it and no one will have to tell you anything. All that is required is being consciously aware of your movements and observe your interactions with others. Anything that is bothersome about the interaction with any part of Creation, consider investigating it.
What if I told you that you had no flaws and that I see a perfect human being? This is what I see. I know everyone here will say the same. We are all imperfect/perfect. I would guess most of us would agree that you are the same, both perfect and imperfect.

@ANGEL & Ohr Ein Sof, thank you so much for the kind words! They mean a lot, and I hope I don't get a big head from it, haha. I always find myself being amazed at the inspirational and indepth insights that are constantly being made here on Bring4th. This is a wonderful community!

About the use of the word service, you do make some good points ANGEL for which I don't really have answers for. I have caught myself at times getting in trouble when thinking I am doing good service to another, but then realising that what I thought was helpful, really wasn't in the end. One can say that the intention counts, but it's still been a hard thing for me to have to learn from having made mistakes. But fortunately, life just seems to roll on anyways.

This is a serious question and one that could be a big deal if it is a very carefully worded thing meant to bid or whatever that process is. Recruit for the negative team if you will.  I do understand that we are here because we all have resonated with this material. I don't like the connotations either. That's why Im asking.

Remember how Ra described what is done in the negative 4th density before they even get to start it?? He said the literally fight out amongst themselves until the hierarchy is established and agreed upon. Who serves under who.  Then after that has been decided they can begin their dimension work. The entire negative system is built on control and service. It has to be like that because they do not get source energy and that is what Ra said. They have denied love, and that is why the path is what is not. Its antigod since he is love. So in order to survive they must TAKE the energy they need to exist from creation itself.  I can't imagine what it will be like in their dimension once all us suckers who love aren't available to manipulate. Those skills will get a bit rusty I guess.

It bothers me alot yet it appears to be such awesome material, yet this is a serious thing and I agree with  another poster who said it clearly... if Ra did not mean it that way he would not have said it that way.
