The whole session is really good.

You are not here to clean it up. You are not here to make it right. You are not here to fix it. For all of the outer world is an illusion. You are here to love it. Take the world in your arms and embrace it. This is how you came to serve. This is your glory and your crown. Wear it well and rejoice in being here...

Well, so far taking 14 capsules a day of Nature's Way seems less effective than 2 capsules a day of Orideva.

So I guess quality is more important than quantity. Smile

I went up to 20 capsules a day.  It started to feel a bit more like 2 capsules of Oriveda.  But this is really a lot of capsules to gob. Smile

Now I am planning on trying another brand, like Dragon Herbs maybe, and starting on Cordyceps as well as Reishi.  But I do not like much that Dragon Herbs do not specify the concentration of their extract.

Anyone has a suggestion on which brand might be well to try?

I like Dragon Herbs and it´s my go to brand when Alive foods 100g bags are out of stock. if you open a capsule and taste it you can get a pretty god idea if it´s a good extract after comparing the taste and effect of a few brand.

The Dragon Herbs Chaga in particular is really good quality.  The Four Kings is working just ok for me I would say.

But my dream landscape is not what it was on the Oriveda.  It's a shame that it is so expensive.  But I think that having to take more pills of the other brands to get the same result evens out a bit the cost difference.  I believe I will just fork the coins for 3 bags of Oriveda next time, one each of Reishi, Chaga and Cordyceps.

Very interesting, what dosage did you use on the Oriveda Reishi?

I was using 2 capsules a day of Oriveda Reishi.  But if I start using these three kinds of mushrooms, I think I will only have to take 1 capsules of each per day.

The name Cordyceps was being suggested to me in semi-meditations, I purchased some finally along with Reishi and Lion's mane.

The lion's man I don't feel any immediate effects I'm aware of yet, but I don't doubt it's beneficial to me in some way.

Reishi & Cordyceps especially I felt after the very first dose. Cordyceps just made me content, it gave me a sense of well being and improved energy yet when I laid in bed I noticed I had no restless legs like usual. Cordyceps is my favorite. I take two capsules from the host defense brand.

The Reishi I can't really put into words, the first time I took it I woke during the middle of the night sweating( I had consumed alcohol before bed too). I can feel energy after taking it, clear mind, I'm still discovering it's effect but think I'll limit it to the mornings.

Cordyceps is the one I'm looking to be a long time consumer of, morning & evening. There is something special about fungus. I see y'all mention Chaga and I'll look into it next.

Interesting research here on the quality differences in between brands...

I have been trying Oriveda's Reishi. So far I have not noticed any obvious effects. This is not true of their lion's mane, which has many obvious and wonderful effects.
i am trying to connect with people using Oriveda cordyceps. Reishi and Lion's Mane to compare experience.

That's interesting !  I have observed the inverse.  The Lion's Mane was not really noticeable to me, but their Reishi is nearly magical. Smile

so many variables in each person. I am smoking cannabis with the Lion's Mane. This really seems to open up its effects.
Not so with the Reishi. Have you tried Real Mushrooms Reishi?

I'm trying reishi at this time, and feel like it helps me with anxiety and gives me more energy overall during the day. Thank you for sharing this knowledge.

I'm still just putting it in my coffee.  I don't know how much it helps, but it certainly hasn't hurt.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Fungi Perfecti yet..it's Paul Stamets company and you can do no better. I see Paul is even offering self-growing kits of reishi now, as well as lion's mane. Freshly foraged, lion's mane really does taste like lobster, but worth drying as well.

Dragon Herbs is run by Ron Teeguarden, one of the people responsible for bringing Chinese medicinal herbs to our attention here in the US. His book on tonic herbs is great. I take his he shou wu daily, and haven't experimented with their reishi enough to comment. I think reishi is a special mushroom that needn't necessarily be taken daily, but all the more power to those who do.

I tried Host Defense's Reishi, but it did not do much for me.  There is something uncommon about how Oriveda extracts their Reishi that my body really likes.  I have been unable to find a replacement.  I would like to, because it is seriously expensive.

Yeah that's pretty crazy really. If you went hiking for it in your area, I bet you could find some! And speaking of dreams, this morning while in a dream (thought I was awake) I was trying to astral project but couldn't release from my body. Go figure..caught in a dream within a dream o_O
