Hi I haven't posted here in a while, mostly a bit caught up in my own things but I think I may need a bit of help. First off I have never considered myself a 'wanderer', it didn't click with me, never experienced most of those things people who are wanderers do. I do have a contact with my future self/guide ..something I have never been able to pin down but its a definite presence that has helped me, from whom I have felt love.

So, the problem. Lately the thought keeps coming at me that I need to 'go home' (and no not some earthly location I once lived). It overwhelms me, actually makes me feel good - happy about it. Most of the time my guide is completely silent on the subject, no response at all. Once in a while I do get a sense of 'no, you still have work to do'. Unfortunately I have no clue what work I still have to do, and I get no answers or even clues when I ask. (I have tried meditation, lucid dreaming, simply asking for dream guidance and so forth).
The whole situation is wearing me down, the only time I feel good these days is when I contemplate going home.

I was in a similar circumstance. I would suggest to ask your guide not a specific question, but rather, what he/she/it would like to communicate to you. In my experience, our guides will definitely speak to us in their own ways, and their silence on a particular train of thought speaks volumes in it's own way.

This is speculation, however contemplate if you will.

Perhaps, home is not a place at all, but rather a density. A life pattern that you may have experienced before you chose to incarnate here on Earth, your contribution of seeking alone is altering the vibration of Earth incrementally. A recommendation; contemplate bringing home here, now. You may be seeking the comforts of your mode of operation of another density and planet altogether. Every 'lost' soul is here for a distinct purpose.

Perhaps home is a state of mind?

For me at least finding home was settling on earth. I always had the feeling I belonged elsewhere.. And had tremendous homesickness. Until for some reason I just figured out that to be home you have to make here your home. And the people here your people. That kind of resolved it for me.

Sure they're not perfect... But it is my home and I no longer feel homesick.

I always felt like I wanted to go back home... when little I thought a lot about Italy and how I wanted to learn architecture when I grew up there... took a trip there later on in my years and did not like it... it was like my brain told me "this part of your life is over, this place is not your home". I couldn't wait to come back from that trip.
When I traveled with my friend to Thailand It instantly clicked... this was home. And not the city, but the rural areas, the beach, the mountains it felt so heartwarming. I could not stand having to leave and ever since I always want to go back "home".
Maybe your home is someplace on Earth other than where you are... try traveling if you can and see if another site resonates better with you and maybe that is where your work is needed.

Home or is it really Ohm? I too recieved this message nearly 15 years ago and it drove me to distraction. At one point I gave everything away because "I was going home." Then I learned to Ohm and now I find
(H)Ome is where ever my heart is. It is the HEART that is open that is the Home and is where Ohm resides.

That said now is the time to explore your world a little and try out new places to physically reside. I am currently involved in this new Home search--- start with making a list of must haves... under 4 categories: Physical, Emotional, Mental and Etheric (spiritual). Then narrow that list to 3 entries under each heading. Now you have your home criteria. Next find a map of the Country you live with most of the localities. Hang it up on a wall. Stand in front of the map with a pen in your non dominant hand, close your eyes and walk forward to the the wall and make a mark on the map. Open your eyes. Now write down all the localities within 100 miles of your mark on the map. This is the reference point. Begin researching all the towns that give you a warm "I am going home" type of feeling. Go to the town websites, wikipedia, do searches on the towns. Note the elevation (we are only choosing 300 ft or above sea level localities). Once you have checked out all the towns. Make an itinerary and visit one at a time for real. Go there. Spend the night. Talk to the locals asking them to tell you more "about thier town." Go to a local eatery when it is crowded with people. Check out the parks, and drive the country roads. You may even want to schedule a couple of showings of houses/apartments/condos that caught your eye. Some towns you will be like "I just want to move here today!" And others upon arriving at the place you are going to stay you cancel your reservation and move on to the next town. Simply cross those towns off your list!

After a bit, you may suddenly discover 1 of 3 things.

    1. You love where you currently physically reside and this is an emotional/mental/spiritual connection issue that can be resolved by deeper connection to self and others or Ohmming.

    2. You have found your new home and the search is over! Your direction has been found and you now are formulating your departure from town A to town B as soon as possible!

    3. You need to go back to walking to the map and choosing a new area again.

This is what we are doing at this time and finding that it has worked exceedingly well for myself and my husband. And in the course of undertaking each new adventure we discover deeper connection to our shifting Self into greater being and Awareness. We also are increasing our intuitive abilities, telepathy and Seeing the place before going there. All of these are important skills to learn and work toward mastery for the shift to 5 D.

Also, Guides, Helpers, Guardians and Angels as well as Benevolent Beings will be largely silent. They will send you little hints but are now mentoring most Developing Luminous Humans to use the newly upgraded skills. Think, you have just entered The early Teens and have new responsibilites and expectations of greater Independence--- The phrase that I was given was "You do it yourSelf!" And then Sacred Laughter and a gentle push forward. This is where many are at in their learning. It is part of the Spiritual Growing Up that we are on in an exponetially Expanding of Awareness Way!

    Ohmmmmmmm

I've been trying to think in the style of K.I.S.S. lately. (Keep It Stupid Simple) So your question brought up my inner response of "Home is where the Heart is!" I've always felt at home where I was born and am local too. But I also think of home as my family and where ever they may be. But then if we're suppose to be evolving into a modern society maybe home is as simple as eating a can of Pringles while watching your favorite child hood movie. You know something of comfort from your past. Then again home could be from your genetics and perhaps your body is craving it's natural climate. Perhaps you need warmer weather or different seasons?

Or maybe...... Since I think nature and Mother Earth are rather active lately with energy and all the connectivity thats flying around you may be tuning into the thoughts of another local in your area. By local I mean probably a cat or dog in a shelter. It's weird I know but lately I've really been thinking that animals are calling out. I don't know, go feed some birds at the park and think on it. Make sure theres some flowing water too. Pen and paper are handy too and some music. Music is the sound track to life....maybe you need to try a new radio station.

Thank you all for the input. Some useful paths to explore and hopefully get 'unstuck' from this particular idea.

This is something I constantly go through as well. I feel "homesick", though I don't know where home is or who is waiting for me there. I feel old and tired, like I'm ready to finally cash in my chips and head home, and I'm only 25. Sometimes I don't know how I could possibly endure an average lifespan here...seventy or even eighty long years? I guess it's a drop in the bucket compared to all the centuries of incarnations I've had here, but the longing for whatever is up there in the stars grows stronger by the day.

For me it was about integration. It took me some 30 years before I let my guard down and allowed Earth energies in. Then it's about balancing those energies. So that's good, while we're here, it's good to make the most of it. Ra said that we fought to get here, and it's a rare opportunity for such learning.

CarlS, I have noticed this sort of thing as well. It seems to me that not only are the animals crying out, but the plants, the water and the very molecules in the air. The whole planet seems more alive now than it ever has, with a beating pulse and a voice that whispers. The nature of oneness is more evident now than it ever has been for me.

ahktu, that is so true. Everything is so alive it's amazing. Actually, I'm seeing things in my own unique perspective, and I can swear that sometimes the butterflies and clouds are almost Disney-esque, sort of like a cartoon, which I find enthralling.

At the same time, especially today, I've sort of felt a bit out of it. Not sure if others feel the same, but certain loud sounds I am much more sensitive to, and I sort of feel out of phase with reality. It's an interesting new experience.

I can very much relate to this too, It remeinds me of them years gone by when I took lots of Psychadelics.
Everything seems to be breathing almost.
Music sounds diffent too, Hubby put on some 'Killing Joke' the other day - I couldn't listen to it, it felt to 'spikey' for want of a better word.

Trees almost have big faces, clouds are full of pictures.
The amimal thing I can relate to aswell - I took the kids to a childrens farm yesterday and I felt odd being around the animals there. It's a wired experiance for me as I've been a vet nurse for more than 10 years so I'm very used to animals.

I had a break though on this, and I am apparently supposed to share this since it might be of help to others.

I have been (somewhat off and on) trying various methods to get some understanding since I started this thread without much success until last night.
    First a bit of background
Most of my communication with my 'self' is on an emotional/intuitional level. When I pause to think about it feelings that are clearly from outside myself 'comment' - if I am heading the right way I get something along the lines of approval, or pleasure for instance. Never any negative feelings tho, the worst - if I am going 'wrong' is a stony silence. Rarely does anything come unless I focus that way - I am given to understand thats because of a policy of non-interference.
One rare exception was one night when I was feeling pretty low for various reasons and all of a sudden out of nowhere a wave of great love swept over me. It was amazing, I was loved and I loved with every cell in my body.
Now most of the time when I meditate, project love and positive feelings it rather feels like an intellectual exercise, and certainly compared to that sensation it is. Anyway what I finally stumbled on last night is that is what I am supposed to be doing, what I am here to help me with. I am learning control of the physical trigger that brings the entire body into harmony and the act of love. With a couple hours of practice after I finally got the mission I can almost summon it at will, not quite as strong as this first time yet, but getting there and I am told that I am no longer getting 'outside' help to do it.
I don't know how much help that gives the world, but it sure as heck helps me.

I am not sure I understand you right, but are you talking about that wave of love that is what you are supposed to do?
I had similar experiences and this is also what I am getting when I ask myself "where is the love in that moment"... then that warm loving feeling in my stomach returns (if I am lucky LOL)
I can certainly relate to meditation feeling like an intellectual exercice and I never really was able to contact my guides until now... but I guess that warm loving feeling in itself is a good answer anyway!
and maybe going home simply means ... going to find your self? Since home is where your self is.

hmm I think the whole 'going home' thing I was experiencing was a human frustration with not finding my purpose. Since I got onto this different sort of love expression that idea is gone. Keep at it with the love, its controllable. I can't believe how much progress I have made. I think that deep complete feeling of love is what a lot of us are supposed to be doing.

Perhaps...the IAM that is within you...is needing you to awaken to the true self of you...which is not separate at all from others...it is the ALL of everything, that fills all life. It is the part of you without beginning and end.

Home, is within you, the kingdom, is within.

We all have a higher self...but this only takes us so far. There comes a time where we have to abandon the path of self and accept the IAM that is the ONE and ONLY true self of all of us. We, are, One.

I had to discover, that I came here, to remember this.

In turn, may path is different then the many seeking ascension. I offer back myself to Thee...to be of use, where ever it best suits, the IAM within all.

Maybe, this is why you came here too.

Only suggestions....for 'home' through ascension, only resonated with me for a short while. Many things happened that forced me to think beyond what I was learning through others.

As I found myself on the edge of a black hole...in the need of a choice....I chose to stay...not seeking a 'home' outside or beyond 'me'. This led me to understanding, the IAM within me, the most truest self of me, and growing into this true nature of me as well. When I discovered this, I couldnt help but to wonder, how did I ever forget, what I was.

The majority, think they know the true self...but if they are seeing their true self as 'separate' from others...they are not ready to face certain things or let go of the illusion of being a 'individual'. This...is OK...we all must walk this path of self until we understand that we still hunger for something we have not found or understood yet. Many say they understand that 'we are one'....but I can confess that there was a long time I thought I understood this, I thought I was truly on the path of service to others...and discovered, this was part of my own illusion my self (separate self) created and desired.

    Best intentions,
    Lynette

I've had overwhelming love strike from nowhere myself, what a wonderful and semi-rare occasion it is!
I love to breath gratitude. I think there may be some merit to what you are saying, and I can relate in several ways, I appreciate your sharing, and would like to thank you!
Thanks a lot, much love be with you!
